There is definitely a pathway to it involving Ingram and CJ.

So I’m a huge supporter of the Kings system they run. I think it’s criminally under appreciated. The coach in me wants to make Ingram play that style of basketball because I think it would be awesome. However, we’ve seen what happens when BI gets taken out of his preferred role so I don’t know if it works for him. Ideally though I want to see that.

@@ivanriobla I tend to agree actually that it might take more than 3 first round picks. His talent, unique play style, price, age, compiled with the fact that they very well could hold him. I don’t know I certainly don’t see less than 3 and some young dudes.

@@ivanriobla Oh dude you would love my talks on him then. I’m a big supporter of the guy. Lauri is kinda that dude though, it’s just the cost of adding All Star level talent.

He has one year left, I don't think a team would give more considering they can't negotiate a true extension until Janurary and if he walked next season it's essentially a one year rental.

@_AVC_ well, mostly because he doesn't bring anything we actually need, now that we have Edey. He is definitely not worth his contract. He is not experienced enough to serve as a mentor. And he does not space the floor. It would make much more sense for Memphis to use that money on a wing or in a cheaper veteran center.

@_AVC_ I see, haha. Well, the spacing alone is not the problem, us what I said before. We already have a traditional big on our team now. We really don't need another center that can't shoot, especially one that is considerably overpaid. He is also not gonna be a veteran presence, which would be nice for this roster. And he is not gonna be a plus on offense, considering the lack of aggressiviness he displayed in Portland, and he would get even less minutes here. Those 30+ million would be better used in a wing who can shoot and in a cheaper veteran center, who could actually mentor Edey.
