It was her damn fault for falling for the guy, she knew he was in a gang and also got knocked up by him, so she wasnt all that innocent. Now the daughter has to suffer because of it. Hope the guy gets caught, if not, then karma will get him.

My 1st job was Burger King. Back then we had helium for party balloons. We would suck in the helium and great the people over the drive through speaker in that voice, it was great!

I didn't work fast food but my first job was at an old seafood joint on the coast of NC...it used to be a brothel years and years ago....very haunted...very strange stories...maybe one day I'll share.....

@@Estellbel1968 the upstairs was used for office space and storage...no one would step foot up there alone, not even the managers. It wasn't an attic, it was a legitmate 2nd level made up of 8 bedroom sized rooms....picture hotel halls with hotel rooms on both sides of the hall. The creepiest thing was every door locked from the OUTSIDE. Our manager said it was to keep the womem locked inside so the men could do whatever they wanted in within the time they paid for. The place was right off the water so tons of fishermen would dock for the night and partake in some fun....truly awful to think about.

I currently work at a convenient store (leaving at the end of this month for a MUCH better job with higher pay), not the point but just figured I’d point out I won’t be here anymore. I have a story about having a gun pulled on me when I was leaving work after closing that night since we’re in a location that can’t stay open all night but luckily was in the car when it happened. When I was working at a fast food place I got stuck taking the garbage one closing night. I really hated taking the garbage out, not so much because of the garage, but because of how the back alley looked at night. It was a narrow path way with a large brick wall pinning you in with no where to go, and a horrible blinking street lamp as your only form of light. Pretty much looked like a scene from a horror movie that you wouldn't want to walk down. I was walking my way back from the dumpsters when I heard footsteps behind me, and when I turned around to see a extremely tall and large man with a mask on. I screamed off the top of my lungs, and when I screamed I had apparently scared the heck out of the dude too, because he jumped. He quicky tried to explain to me he was just there to hose down the back walkway down. I guess to keep it from smelling. The mask he had on was so he didn't get stuff on his face. Even with his explantation I quickly ran inside my work place. My coworker told me he was legit apparently. I still would have appreciated a heads up though. I am just a 4'10" chick who legit thought I was in a horror movie when that dude scared me. I was actually quite vulnerable in the back alley and that just added to my fear when going back there. I'm just glad the guy meant me no harm in the end.

@@shamusbob7969 I guess you can call it a biohazard mask. It was like a gas mask that covered his entire face and has a tube on it so he could breathe and not get anything in his eyes or mouth.

people who drink alcohol are weak, girl, there's a difference between drinking until you can't walk straight and drinking out of pleasure. Drinking wine or beer to the right food is quite neat.. but whatever.

My roommate and brother in law was robbed twice in the same fucking subway and was so traumatized that he dropped out of college and gave up on a few big ambitions to heal and make himself safer to avoid more bad situations. He did everything right, and was following the rules bt the robberies happened very close together, like it happened on Friday and then again on Saturday. The 2nd robbery led to an arrest by the guy is back on the streets after serving time in the penitentiary

My worst job was working at an Arby's. They wouldn't let us leave to take breaks cuz people left and never came back. We had to smoke next to all the machines in the back. Even worse, I saw the actual manager making a beef and cheddar, while smoking, ashed in it, and then *still serve it* I quit that day.

iirc, Teflon is applied as a liquid and then super heated and bonds to the metal. It is just a coating which is why it is easily scraped off when using metal utensils. Yeah, Karen, I told you not to use the metal flipper.

Magic makes teflon stick to the pan. Good stories and of course saddening. I got an email earlier today from a person that I did not ever think I would hear from again. Nothing terrible, but it has dropped my self happiness lvl down. Now I have been wondering " why are you contacting me? You have a supposed new 'wonderful guy' you should talk to, not me." That story about Sofia has me hurting even more.

Teflon sticks to the pan because it is sprayed on and then super-heated/cooked to stay on. :) At least that's my guess.
