I am from The snow capped mountains of New Mexico. Where they stayed must have been around Santa Fe. Where I live it’s not very warm unless it’s May or June. It gets cold due to rain in July. I hate my state. It is not very pretty as you narrated it’s not all adobe homes. Mostly outside of where I live it’s flat dry dessert little trees everywhere. Not picturesque unless your around the basque area around Arizona and Utah. My town can be during winter. But is very dangerous if you are not use to driving around the mountainside. Also fun fact New Mexico has the most Volcanos than any other state.

I picked up a hitchhiker last night. He seemed surprised that I was willing to pick him up at all. He said to me, "Thanks for the ride, but aren't you afraid that I might be a serial killer?" I studied him for a moment and simply replied, "the chances of two serial killers being in the same car would be astronomical." ;)

In the United States, if a policeman is in an unmarked car, he has to be in uniform. If they are not in uniform in an unmarked car you need to run!

Sherry Flanigan that’s not necessarily true. Detectives can wear regular clothes. You’re safest bet is to call 911 and ask if you are actually being pulled over. And if you are being pulled over by a legitimate cop. Dispatch will tell you to stop and they will notify the officer that you were just trying to be safe.

Pretty sure unmarked police cars are usually used for stake out purposes or undercover means. Basically, I don’t they they’ll be pulling random speeders over. Especially since highways and other roadways always have an officer assigned to them anyways,

@@lizsoul7875 yeah, I can see that happening, it’s just abnormal. I know a police officer, and he says that it’s unusual for a police officer off the job or on a case to be giving out speeding tickets. They’re usually much more concerned with whatever they’re doing, rather than some guy chasing some speed, as long as they’re not acting dangerously. They leave the speed tickets to guys managing that particular road or rookies from what I’ve heard.

@@lizsoul7875 man, that sucks. That would honestly terrify me XD. I’m super paranoid cuz the only that gets to me is people. I know that sounds cliche, but I’ve had some seriously bad experiences. I’d probably act like I was hiding something when in reality I’m just terrified of people who have authority. I dunno how you reacted, but from how I imagine I’d react, it must have been unnerving to say the least.

One of the really stupid things about impersonating a cop like that is that what if you pull over an actual off-duty cop and he quickly realizes you're a fake. Your ass is going straight to jail. Do not pass go, do not collect $200

Never stop for an unmarked police car. Call 911 and ask if you are being pulled over by a legitimate cop. If not, they’ll send one to help. If you are actually being pulled over. Dispatch will inform the cop that you were being precautious.

I've tried to hitchhike a number of times in the States. I found out it's a good way of getting some exercise, cause not no one will pick you up. I've walked coast to coast a couple of times. I do recommend trying out a pair of comfortable shoes first, munchables, & a good knife for the weirdos you just might meet on the voyage

I picked up a hitchhiker once and it was a mistake in the end. I’m contemplating posting my story, but it isnt as interesting as many others are. I wasnt touched or attacked, but only noticed him try things but i was paranoid enough to protect myself from things escalating further. I’ve also been thinking of switching my youtube content to reading stories like these as well. I wanted to ask if anybody had any good tips before i even begin doing them

About seeing pictures of a place you are going to stay at, don't bet on it looking the same when you check in! They either have been photo shopped or you get the "I'm sorry, one of our staff made a mistake and booked another couple in that room. We only have one room left, it's slightly different from the one you wanted." Upon opening that door, you'll find yourself in a room that either looks like an 1800s brothel, a converted closet, or a room straight out of a funeral pallor!!! Oh and I almost forget the best one yet, the in room swimming pool you only find out from taking your bags to the bed. THEN comes something like I previously stated above!

There are a great many of us Aussies who are of the firm conviction that Lees had a lot to do with Falconio’s murder/disappearance. Theories/Investigations alluded to her contracting out whatshisface to do the deed. He was supposed to get away with it, but apparently, only she did. She was big on the crocodile tears and attention-seeking carry-on at the time, gave numerous paid-for interviews both here and back in England, cried buckets whilst batting her lashes, then a few years later, organised interviews all over again. She was so full of it.
