This is really interesting, but it's not that easy for a 50 years old. I have some cash to invest in equity/stock. I want to make no mistakes while adding a few companies to my present holding over a long term.

Regarding profitability, the equity/stock market is unique. That being said, what you wrote is the rationale behind why investors still make a ton of money when they employ the appropriate tactics and plan for their retirement.

Stringent trading strategies that require expertise is the tactics you need. Unquestionably, the equity/stock market is a fantastic opportunity to make quick money, invest for the future and for retirement you just have to be careful.

I am 55 years old with very little set aside for retirement at this point. I have always been curious about the stock market and have witnessed some people who played the game right and retired early because they used the stock market. When I ask them, most said that they invested very little to start with, but their portfolio grew. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns.

Buy index funds if you wanna be safe, though you are probably be better off just going to Vanguard or something for that

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should've known that by now, nothing beats experience and that's final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again

I have a huge inventory of sterling silver natural gemstone rings. I have the cool stand at the flea market. Over Christmas 3 weeks my store in the mall is a huge hit. 2d time selling at the fair my booth wins first place for best looking booth and i stayed slamming busy the whole time. Now fairs are closed, malls going out of business flea markets are slower and slower. Ive hit a wall. Huge inventory of Jewelry beautiful pieces and no place to sell. I need a place where it stays busy all day. I like fast pace. Everyone can afford my prices. No reason why poor people can own a beautiful ring. But again with Amazon and the corona ive no place to set up shop.

Pat, There is a place where one can go to learn Sweat Equity. You went and I went to the School. It's called the US. Military. I went into the Navy and learned Sweat Equity. You went into the Army and learned Sweat Equity. US Military still produces the greatest leaders in the world.

I think there is one more, OPIUM not the drug but OPM Other People's Money. Did almost 50 years ago. Wife and I were flipping properties before concept became popular. Buy a rental property, borrow the down payment, get a mortgage. Rent pays expenses. Get 100%+ return on investment when flipped after holding period. Not easy but very profitable when done correctly. Really enjoy your channel.

I'm moving money out of South Africa just in case. Many companies losing big due to rolling blackouts across the country. The country has been getting worse and worse in many areas and could land up similar to Zim, where it never recovers. I think a good tell is whether international companies are pulling out.
