The last time I ordered vinegar from Amazon, I ordered a five litre bottle. I don't know what happened, but I was sent five bottles. Yup, I suddenly had 25 litres of white vinegar! My home sparkled!!

Used vinegar to remove the stale cigarette stink from our apartment when we moved in. My husband got a paint roller and we applied vinegar all over the walls and ceilings. Had to do it a few times where the stink had built up in one of the bathrooms. It took a couple days to air out, but it got that nasty casino smell out!

Definitely need closed captioning. Love your videos! thank you so much for the natural cleaning tips. I am super sensitive and have primarily used vinegar and baking soda, sometimes Cream of Tartar . However, I would get push back that it isn't real cleaning. I am also very good at procrastinating and this does give the extra shove to get it started and eventually done.

You can buy scented vinegar
@asgabeler
@asgabeler 4 жыл бұрын
Early this year, 2020, I found online (sorry, I don't remember where) that you can scent white vinegar with citrus peel! Jam into a jar grapefruit, orange, lemon, lime, or just one kind - I used all the navel peels, then pour white vinager to the top and close. Then everytime you walk by the jar - about a few times a week, give the jar a shake up and in 2 or more weeks the white vinegar will start to turn a light golden color, eventualy to amber, the longer you wait the stronger it gets. You can also add essential oil to increase the strength. I just kept making jars of this and loved the oldest jar best, the fragrance was so good. take the peels out at the earliest in one month, and you can leave them in longer to increase the citrus scent!.

When my grandmother was growing up, you could use vinegar and newspaper to clean glass. Not so much now as newspapers are not like they used to be. But, it is great with flour sack towels. Vinegar and Baking Soda is awesome for cleaning toilets, stainless steel sink, and for washers and dishwashers. I have been using White distilled Vinegar on my hair for years. Strips out build up, but makes my hair super soft and not frizzy. Cleans coffee pots, humidifiers, etc. Dollar Tree has an awesome vinegar based glass cleaner. Great in clothes for "disinfecting" and softening. Also good for sunburns. It will take out the sting. 1 cup of vinegar in a gallon of room temperature water. Pour over body, slowly.

I use a 50/50 water & Apple cider vinegar as a final rinse on my hair about once every 2 weeks and I get asked how I get my hair so shiny, I think it's the ACV. I also mix a 1/4 cup of ACV with about 4 cups of tepid warm water as a final rinse on my dog, of course NOT on his head or near his eyes. It makes his hair feel like silk. That's him in my profile pic. The vet recommends it for white dogs who have color stained fur which is probably a common yeast that is caused from dogs hair getting wet a lot. Like tear stains. Rinsing them with the ACV kills the yeast. My guy had severe tear stains.

You know what just occurred to me. I think people who know this about dandelions (and now that includes all of us now...thanks! LOL!) Anyway, maybe we should start planting dandelions, in our veggie gardens, on purpose! Then we don't have to worry about the rest of them because, with all the landscaping companies out there, many, if not MOST of the dandelions probably get sprayed and may not be so good for the bees anyway. 🐝🐝🐝🐝

Lol! I’m the same as you about salad dressings - vinaigrette at home and the works when eating out! I love cleaning with vinegar but my hubs HATES the smell... what masks the smell the best? Also do you have an opinion on vinegar vs baking soda for calcium buildup in a kettle?? (Living In hard water central London)

I use vinegar to clean because of having cats who like to 'help' with chores. To keep my home from smelling like pickles, I put flavor extract (for baking) in my water/vinegar solution. Mint, Lemon, Cherry, & orange are my favorites!!
