7 Up Pound Cake coming right up!!! This is some traditional, old school goodness!!!
#7UpPoundCake #PoundCakeQueen
INGREDIENTS I USED:
Start in oven preheated to 325 degrees for 1 hour 15mins.
3 Sticks of Butter (Room Temperature)
3 Cups Sugar
5 Eggs (Room Temperature)
3 Cups Cake Flour
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tsp Lemon Extract
1 Tsp Creme Bouquet (Can use Vanilla Flavoring instead)
1 Cup 7 Up Soda (Room Temperature)
1/4 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream (Room Temperature)
1-2 Tsp Lemon Zest
1-2 Tsp Lime Zest
FOR 7 UP GLAZE I USED:
Powdered Sugar
7 Up Soda
Creme Bouquet Flavoring

I made the banana pudding pound cake. It overflowed in my oven, made a huge mess and it was lopsided…BUT It’s delicious and real pretty if you tilt your head to the side. 🤣🤣🤣

@@debrasmith2974 yes. I need a larger pan. It was too much batter. I’m just figuring out baking. I can cook but baking wasn’t in my ministry. I started watching Donna and decided to try again. I made the pineapple pound cake and it was so good. I just learned not to overfill my pan the hard way.

I am fairly new to your channel. I am studying these pound cake recipes to see which one I want to try first. I have never made a pound cake. And my late Father in law used to make the best 7up pound cake so when I seen your 7up pound video I told myself I’m gonna attempt to make it (I used a cake pan) And I want to give you a big THANK YOU for all your videos. Hi Mrs Donna, just put mine in the oven. It's basically my same recipe, but I usually use all purpose flour. But today I used my cake flour. Tell dude #1 he be on time for sampling. I don't even blame him. I have to make a sample little loaf for my daughter. Great recipes.

Wow! She definitely invested her 401k savings of raw and professional baking experience/knowledge! That type of 7up pound cake that takes you back to childhood dancing, it taste so good! I extend much respect to her, her skills and area of expertise! Hello Mrs. Donna, I made the banana pudding cake and the strawberry cream cheese it was so delicious. My family really enjoyed those cakes. I gonna make the 7 up cake soon. I have made one before and it came out good. But I want to try the one you made. I would really like to see you make a coconut cream pie.
