VERY amazing vidio

I take the transformer and the four inside corners I grind them down with a carbide but until they are no longer sharp . This helps if you need to get more wire on it . Also it helps not have as much grab when rewinding it. Then there are no sharp corners to eat in to you wire over time . Cause it will get hot . I like using the conduit wire that has the extra layer of clear coating on it ! It’s oil resistant but I find it extra tuff . If you can get old hot water tanks before they junk them the natural gas kind . They have punch plate around the burner on the bottom . I get it and use it to Inclose my little transformer projects . That is the coolest inductive soldering iron I’ve ever seen along with breaking stuck nuts and bolts with out having to burn everything up around what ever your working on . That would come in handy underneath a auto close to the gas tank were you can’t use open flame to get rusted bolts off shocks and springs . Perfect for bending ! Thanks for the great video the soldering iron is over the top man . I built a car battery charger out of the same kinda transformer it works great . There is a lot of use in things that others junk or trash . Dad said if you buy it you still really don’t know what you got . But if you build it you know all there is to know about it inside and out . Then if some thing happens to it who would know better how to fix it than the one who made it . I found out if I made a mistake then I could not complain I just had to fix it because it was my own and not some one else’s !

This is the first time seeing one of your videos. I do things like you, grab a bunch of stuff and make something out of nothing. I really like the way you show everything without all the editing so it looks like everything is so easy to make. You show your mistakes and how you overcame them. Other videos on KZfaq I watch makes everything look like they live in a perfect world where everything just falls together. On the first contraption you made, I would have worked with the gearing a little bit so it would have rolled the square tube a bit quicker and made a larger hand wheel for it. But all in all, great work! If you had a lathe and milling machine I’m sure you would make many more DIY works of art. Maybe you could have your sponsors buy you a 3 in one machine-drill, mill, and lathe. Something to think about for the future. Be safe and start using a vise more often while using your drill press.
