I think the thing with Savage being "goofy" during Rumbles plays into his character. His gimmick was so intense and moving "90 mph" that eliminating himself just kind of made you go "Ah, that's Macho being Macho."

I eliminated myself from a rumble on svr 2011 once me and my friend were playing I was Rey Mysterio went to the top and somehow targeted someone that was eliminated and just straight up jumped out 😂

I don't remember which game it was, but I somehow got glitched out of the ring once and wound up walking around ringside for ten minutes before it finally said that I was eliminated. It refused to let me back in the ring for those ten minutes. I was really annoyed because I never went over the top rope.

That was why the Steamboat-Savage match was so good at WM3. Apparently, Steamboat and Savage both meticulously planned their matches, so their match against each other was planned hold-for-hold. George "The Animal" Steele speaks about it in his book, and how bored he was, standing around for his spot in the match, while they spent hours planning the moves and hitting them right.

Cuz that doesn’t make any sense, if truth and Riley were supposed to eliminate miz, then even if Riley did screw up, wouldn’t truth had just eliminated miz then? And then y would miz then eliminate truth, and then y would miz continue to be the Ironman for the rumble and last the longest only to be finally eliminated by the final entrant the big show?

I heard it s few years back but yeah that's all I know other then then they didnt know who to make win the 2012 rumble so they let they let the wrestlers plan out but riley botched his elimination which meant miz and r truth had to change their plans in the match but yeah I would just look up info and all that but that's how I found it

Rewatching the rumble with Mil Máscaras and his elimination seems more funny than how everyone points out. They forget he doesn't actually go over any ropes, he goes out of the ring between the ropes. Climbs up and jumps, at no point going from in the ring to over the ropes. Instead of a year long Axelmania we have over 2 decades of Máscarasmania!

I think there is a simple solution to how to decide the winner. The brand extension was on then, so have Batista (a RAW superstar) go for the RAW title at WM, and Cena go for the SD Title. But, guess what, this happened anyway, as Batista fought Triple H (RAW Champion) at WM21, and Cena fought SD Champ JBL at WM, meaning that they could have decided it this way and it wouldn't affect the planned storyline whatsoever.

The only thing that's really off about Shawn's elimination was Batista's shock and attempt to drag. But everything afterwards felt pretty on-track. Maybe the elimination was meant to be the same but more dramatic.

I forget which Rumble it was, where Big Show I think was the favorite to win, but Kane showing tremendous strength, picking up Big Show horizontally, dumping him over the top rope. Show even looked at Kane, eyes saying "Really" and Kane shrugs at him.

Shawn Michaels did the same in 1995 too...he was due to win the rumble but almost fell whilst holding onto the ropes and one foot hit the floor. So they had to change it to both feet having to hit the floor to be eliminated

I don't think Vince was really that angry at Batista and/or John Cena. He knows that sometimes shit happens on live events. He came in already angered because his two general managers already left before the event ended. His original idea was to send them out to clear up the situation. Now he had to go himself to do it. Well then he hurt himself.

I want to see a different angle of Owen Harts elimination from 96. They were showing a replay of Owen hitting Michaels and you couldn’t see when Diesel threw him over as he was trying to throw Michaels over. I think he was upset and telling the ref that Michaels feet had touched too. Does anyone know where I can see this elimination from a different angle.
