Made me cry. Brings back memories with my old best friend. We met in nursery, we were about 3-4 years old. Since then, we’ve never been separated. We thought we’ll be best friends till the end. In year 4, 5 years later, we started to slowly drift away as our classes at school were separated and we were no longer in the same class for most of our subjects. We still saw each other on the playground and we would occasionally talk, but we both already found new friends. I wanted to keep our friendship together so I kept talking to her, but she changed a lot. Her new friends were like bullies, they would pick on other kids, and so my friend fell down that path. We then entered year 6 two years later, she tried to change herself and distance herself away from her “friends” but she ended up lonely. I had really bad stomach problems so I was barely in school, but when I was in school I just saw her sitting on the bench in the playground. I would try to talk to her, but she would just ignore me. On the last few days of primary school, she finally approached me. She started crying and she hugged me very tightly. Since I had passed my grammar test and she was moving, we couldn’t be together anymore. We already made plans together to never be separated and to own a business together when we were like 6, but it already ended when we turned 8. We lived quite close to each other before she moved, so I would try and wave to her from outside while she was in her bedroom, but she just closed the curtains every time. When we got into year 7, we made new friends, I don’t really know much about her life right now since we don’t really have each other’s contacts, but I sometimes call her using my mums phone since she has my friends mums contact there. We would have like 3 minute conversations and just end the call. We’re not even friends anymore, I don’t think. She was neglected by her parents for almost her entire life, the only time her parents would interact with her is when they gave her food. She used to come over to my house when we were 7 and 8. We had such an amazing time together for all of those years. I wish I can see her again, I’m currently in college as an 18 year old student. It’s been 8 whole years since we haven’t seen each other. It breaks my heart, knowing that we may not see each other for the rest of our lives. I feel terrible knowing that I couldn’t be with her for all of those years.

Gumi is definitely my favourite character. i can realte to her, in some ways. when i was young, i had no friends. children would ran across me without even notice me. but then, when i was 6/7 i got a kitten. an orange adorable kitten. i would play with him every day. he was litteraly an incarnation of chaos, yet he always layed beside me when i was sick or tired. he was my best friend. in 2021, he started acting strange. he was looking with big eyes at the wall for hours. he was cold, and wouldn't meow like he always did. instead his meows were very low pitched. i got worried and the doctor said he wouldn't make it. when i made my final goodbye, i cried for hours. maybe months even. i lost my best friend. RIP Tobermory 2021. PS: i know a human friend is much more worth than a cat, but he just meant alot to me. ty for listening.

My best friend died in a traffic accident when I was 19. We were together constantly since we were 7 and did so much over the years, and made plans for the future. When you loose someone like that it, it changes and haunts you. This year it’s been 7 years, and I still miss her so much, especially around this time, because believe it or not, her birthday is Christmas Eve, and I’m really sad I don’t get to see her family this year as I have always done and continue to in the morning of Christmas Eves day. Thanks for making and sharing this. It was really beautiful

I cried so frickin hard. I never had a best friend that died but I had a friend from kindergarten to 5th grade and she was already moving away from me. We made future plans together, practically inseparable. Then I moved schools and kinda texted her like every three months for a year and a half. I met her again in 7th grade and I just didn't know her. I realized our friend ship for the last couple of mothes were kinda fake and she didn't care as much. I was messed up for a bit after that. This hits hard because it was like she was a husk of the person I knew her to be. The friend I knew was dead in my eyes. Thank you for this. I didn't know I needed this long cry.

Damn this hit hard. An old friend of mine, I've known her since 1st grade, died in a car reck December 6, 2021. When I first heard about it, I has been watching KZfaq, I sat down and continued. Halfway through watching the video I burst into tears and just started sobbing cause it took a while to hit me. It's been a while but I still can't accept that she's gone. She was young, too young, and it was only a few days after her birthday.

Despite watching this often through the year, I still love it. I haven't had very bad experiences, but it heavily reminds me of a friend of mine who has been going through tough times lately. This will always sit somewhere in my memory, no matter how old it gets. Can't wait to see more on this universe.

The line "I made a man so happy when I wrote a letter once" it hit me hard. One of my dads friends and coworkers got diagnosed with lung cancer and last month I wrote him a note and my dad told me that he said it was one of the few things that brought him joy in those last few weeks.... he's been gone for over a month now and we started singing clouds in choir... it made things so much worse bc we started singing it the night after he left us.

Aw, this is the reason I’m scared to make friends, the few people I knew I’m my primary/elementary school I wasn’t close with except these two girls, one of them became distant really quick but I kept in contact with the other after we left school, but a few months later she started ignoring me and lying, I thought she wanted time with her new friends so I messaged her less often, soon later we met up and she was so different, before she was so caring and funny, she was the silly one in our group and always found a way to make us happy and cheer us up, but I didn’t see that in her anymore, she was more interested in her phone than me and the only conversations we had were about her and whatever she was watching, she kept judging people she saw online and I just didn’t know what to do, I decided to go home early and said I didn’t feel well and was a bit tired, I havnt seen her since, to think that we were inseparable, I thought that I’d grow up with her and we’d always find a way, I guess I was wrong. I know it’s silly of me to be scared to make close friends because of the one incident but I do try, and sooner or later they go. For some reason I just can’t keep the people I make friends with, and I do have social anxiety and I don’t talk much at all, I remember some people thought it was mute or something, but it’s just cause I’m not comfortable, I like being with just that one person I trust, but they have groups, and this sounds selfish but I don’t like groups, I accept that they have multiple friends and I go with them but I do get ignored, It’s why I spend most of my time in my bedroom online. I’ve actually made this one friend on the other side of the world, and she is just amazing, we’ve been friends for almost three years already and I just can’t imagine my days without her, sure I can’t always talk with her since we have a 5 hour time gap, but it makes me happy to know that someone’s there for me, we’ve made plans to meet in the future and move in together in another country haha, if that happens I’ll honestly be happier than I’ve ever been ^^ I don’t know why I wrote this, I just felt like it, but I guess what I wanna say is that if anyone’s had relationship problems in the past, wether it be romantic or not, I hope you never loose faith, don’t hold yourself back and stay stuck in the past, I did that, and I regret it, now I have trouble interacting with people, I’m just so awkward, but slowly and steadily I’m getting there, back to how I was, I won’t become extremely confident and talk with whoever I want however I want, but I will learn to stick with the people I trust, the girl I’m currently friends with online, she’s helped me through a lot, I’ve built up my confidence and I’m more free than I ever was with her, and I want anyone who read this to know that there is someone who cares about you, maybe you don’t know them yet, or maybe you do, but someone will always be there, it can be family or friends, maybe even a stranger (not in the creepy way) who’s ready to listen to you, and help however they can. Please don’t give up, you will regret it, it will make your life harder and the people around you too, just keep on trying, keep going, there’s going to be obstacles in your way but you just gotta find a way to get past them, you won’t get anywhere without learning through experience, so find those people and just talk, it can be about anything, be happy and be yourself, be confident in what you can do, and I promise that you won’t regret it, live your life to its fullest, don’t waste your young years, you only have one childhood so make the most out of it, make people remember who you are

I stayed up late crying watching this. I met my bestie in age 7. We because instant soul mates. We did everything together until I had to move. It completely broke me and her. But we tried to keep in touch, it worked we still talk today but it hurts to think of leaving my friends. Because *they* become sad and depressed and I can’t bear the thought of it. This really hit home for me. I had a best friend, he was kind to me and protected me from an annoying pervert and stuck with me every break and lunch. We talked about art, and things we liked. He wasn’t perfect but he was an amazing friend. And one day he just left, no warning, no nothing. He just left, moved county or something. He didn’t tell me or even act like it was my last time seeing him. The only way I found out was through one of my other friends. Thank you for this- my aunt passed in december and my dog passed in January. I always thought I would get to take my graduation picture with my dog and I would get to see my aunt when I was older.....but now I can't do either of those things anymore. Sometimes I don't know what to feel without them. I even felt particularly to blame for my dog having to be put down....this anamatic is beautiful thank you
