This video details the rear window channel repair we did at Steele's Classic Cars & Restorations on a 1971 Monte Carlo. We utilized the AMD Rear Deck Filler Panel and also used window channel patch panels from Rust Replace. The links to these parts are listed below. This should apply also to 70-72 Chevelles.

Any thoughts about brazing in the lower right seam inside the window channel where they are prone to rust?

I have no experience with brazing, but I do know the brazed metal I've worked around in the past had rust underneath the repair. So I think the probability of rust is similar for both brazing and welding. Treating the repair areas with things like zinc/phosphate coatings, seam sealer and epoxy primer should eliminate the possibility of rust in the future. Hope this helps and thanks for your comment!
