Giving the message not everybody have the loads of money or sponsorship from high end endorsement parts and tools, but having the talent and passion for what you're doing is what makes it awesome to watch and be inspired to it. Justin of 79th production, YoungStatic, AlldayAnthony, Chrisfix, Ericthecarguy are few examples of those that I watch on a daily and learn from.

"this is something you guys can do..." yeah... if you own an engine hoist, spray gun, a tire mounting machine, a bunch of other tools, and a few friends willing to work for free.
@tonyovermyer5368
@tonyovermyer5368 2 жыл бұрын
1) an engine hoist, a decent compressor, and some cheap spray guns aren't terribly expensive, although a full set of tools really can be. 2) you don't necessarily need friends if you know what you're doing, not on a big time frame. Although having a second set of hands to remove things like the hood, doors, and trunk lid can make it easier. So yes, this is something that most people can do, as long as you have the money and the space to do it

my story is kinda same. don't have much of a money, and cars are really, really expensive in my country. Tried a lot to buy something decent looking and really reliable...never made it. I wish I could build something like this with ease. Something similar would cost around 6 grands (USD) where I live. doing this for just 700? man, only if I had this skill...

Put about $450 into it and got it to pass safety and emissions inspections, and about $2500 more in parts and a bunch of work (luckily I work in a machine shop or the cost would be substantially more) and I've got a daily driver that looks good and will run high 10's in the quarter mile all day long. I'll bet you're an expert on changing that head gasket after doing it 3 times. You are so right. That's how you learn. The only difference between you and those early hot rodders is the kind of cars you are working on. More power to you. and God bless you for showing others there is nothing to fear.
