Rest in eternal peace Irish! Still stunned to hear her passing. I was hoping she gets better soon. I didnt know she been sick for a very long time and on serious medical leave since last December. Born in 1990, I am telling yall right now, that music makes me feel more proud to be born in the 90s . Best times of my childhood. I was 6 years old when 702 had came out. I am 33. Been loving them when I was a little girl. They did this theme song from classic Nickeledeon's show'' Cousin Skeeter''.I missed those times so badly-when life was simple for me. Nowdays, eveything gone down drastically. Thats why 90s still on my mind everyday 24/7. Bring back the 90s! 702 will always be my favorite group of all time. I feel kinda bad since I never got a chance to see Irish. She will be missed
@noemysanchez13537 ай бұрын
I totally agree. Am exactly the same age too. ;) yeah. So true. Irish will truly be missed. Her music and legacy will always be alive in the lives of everyone; her family friends fans around the world and every heart and soul she touched. She will always live in the music world. God bless her soul.

The 90's era of music...music at its finest.
@blah96648 жыл бұрын
we didn't realize how good we had it in the 90s. the 90s was the best times and it seemed like it lasted forever. when we was in the middle of it I never thought things would change so drastically for the worst and be the way it is now. But I guess that's how it goes smh.

90s didnt last enough for me. Just one decade. The thrash that is going in the music industry now seems to be going on for almost two decades now.

The reason why the 90's was the best time for Black music is because every group and individual artist had their own unique sound and style. Nobody sounded the same. Nowadays every female artist wants to look and sound like Beyoncé. Every rapper wants to sound like lil wayne or drake or whatever. Everybody looks and sounds alike. This is why the music and the artistry is so poor these days. And back then you actually had to know how to sing to be a lead singer. You didn't have to look like Beyoncé to be a lead singer.

we're in a world today, where the masses have been dumb down considerably since back then, and every since youtube came out and it have gotten worse ALOT quicker. wtf is a "selfie" sounds retarded.

All 90's groups looked and sounded alike.
@rodney1b9 жыл бұрын
*****Nope! Boys 2 Men didn't sound like Jodeci, Jodeci didn't sound like Silk, maybe you think they dressed a like cause it was the style that was in, but saying they all sound a like not at all. New Edition didn't sound like any of them, they all had their own style just like TLC didn't sound like SWV, you can easily tell the difference between Ment Condtion and Tony Toni Tone maybe thats just us, we knew the differences between all of them.

The 90s were an era. A moment in time. Kids today just wouldn't understand. I love 702 and especially Kameelah's vocals, Missy Elliott 's production.

Tirrell25 I agree, when there wasn't so much technology, ppl were much more creative ... back then it was forbidden to copy and paste someone's else's style lol now it's encouraged to be unoriginal or at least it feels that way
