Jaya Bachchan slapped actress Rekha for having an affair with her husband, actor Amitabh Bachchan. In this video we tell the viewers all about this incident that happened between Jaya Bachchan & Rekha. Amitabh Bachchan & Rekha had a love affair for a very long time and Jaya Bachchan felt very humiliated as a result of it. Jaya Bachchan landed on the sets of an Amitabh film where he was shooting with Rekha and slapped her. I totally agree. A third person enters if there is a crack in ur relationship. First look into tht and try to mend it rather than coming into action like this. It is ur spouse who took vows with u nt the other person n if he/she has broken it thn they deserve tht slap. We r quick to blame the third person rather than face our own devils....

Yash Chopra wanted to cash in on the existing real life drama and has spoken about it in a conversation with Shahrukh Khan. Please watch that video on KZfaq. YC was a big filmmaker and convinced the trio to do Silsila. He took a promise from both Jaya & Rekha to remain professional throughout the shooting of the film. YC has spoken with SRK in detail on this matter in that video.

My mom , mausi and some other relatives were big fans of Bacchan Saheb and wanted an autograph from him. So they visited Park Hotel in Calcutta. So they visited him and found Rekha ji also along there. Bachhan saheb being a thorough gentleman gave autograph, Rekha Ji seemed unhappy and perplexed.

I being a wife can understand what jaya ji went through and why is she so bitter. I would have slapped rekha and amitabh a thousand time if i would have been at jayajis place. Can any woman ever imagine that her husband carries out an affair that brought so much disgrace, niw amitabh is a big name but can anyone ever understand the plight of a wife, NO , its always easy to be a lover difficult to be a homemaker a mother and a wife who carries the pride and grace of the whole family on her shoulder.

You keep on digging interesting facts and this video is just awesome !!! Did not know that Jaya Bhaduri, Rekha & Amitji knew each other long before Amitji & Rekha became stars in the industry. The slap incident that took place on the sets of Ram Balram must have put Amitji in a very embarrassing situation. His silence over the issue confirmed his affair with Rekha, which till that time was still a rumour as there was no strong evidence to prove. Jaya did try her best to kick Rekha out of the movie Ram Balram by pressuring the producer, but Rekha played her cards well too and agreed to work for free. This was again a very nice and interesting video dear Rahoul 👍👍

Jaya Bachchan is still a very hot tempered lady, even today after sll these years she is a very outspoken woman, who does not hesitate in reprimanding a person with whom she is un comfortable. Even today Amitji stays silent when Jaya talks.

That's such a tricky situation to be in. I wonder if Jaya ji should have walked away from the relationship then, she could have been a very happy woman today after self-discovery. It comes down to the choices we make in life. I still wish, she can learn to love herself to make better choices.

I don't think Jaya Bachchan would give up her social status ,name and fame ,wealth so easily! She was a great actress but had her limitations as a woman next door, not so versatile and it was a fact that she became more famous by clinging to the failed marriage and continued to do so digesting all the insults and humiliations!!! It was a boon in disguise when Amitabh had an accident on the sets of Coolie and came back from near death....those months Jaya stayed beside him and the equations changed after that period !!!! The prodigal husband came back to his family!!!!!!!

So , no doubt he was in between life and death Q , but that tragic accident saved him too ! He did not get his lady love , but got his life back .

Im an avid fan of your channel and it's probably one of the best channels providing information on the historical events that took place over the period of more than a century! Having said it as interesting as this vlog is I would really want to see evidence supporting this event. Especially when it happened in front of so many people I'm sure one of them could have come out confirming the incident. Any news clippings or articles from that time or perhaps any old interview on KZfaq available? Please don't be offended as this is about Rekha g and bachchan sb and I'm a huge fan of their Jodi. I would love to see any evidence in support of this event.
