What is the “bulge” in the bodywork around the intake in the green bike at the start of this video? Is that some fancy pre-war aero to jam air down the intake? Or just a way to keep your knee from catching fire in case of a backfire?

NM, I bet it’s trying to keep your pants from blocking the intake. I do know why the blue Ducati has pillow taped to the tank. Every hard braking corner that sharpe tank “punches” you in the stomach. lol
