Demons were so light weight and fast. When I was a kid in. 71 our neighbor bought a jet black one he would tell me stories about him smoking built cars and he was in stock form no headers. Him and his wife fought all the time finally she said it’s either me or the car as he made 1 final burn out when he left never seen that black demon again. Right choice👍

71 Duster,brown with houndstooth vinyl roof and interior. Had a 318 with 340 heads. Wouldn’t start after a car wash or in the rain,but fun when it did.

Someone took the time to do things right on your car. First I see they replaced the battery cables. So many times I see a "restored" car with those problem bolt on battery clamps. Second I see they didn't paint over the door striker post. They were never painted from the factory and I always see a rush job when they paint over the door striker and dome light switch. Makes me wonder what else did they "rush" on the car. The engine doesn't bother me. Cars have engine problems and they need replaced. Upgrades, or making it better is always good. I really like that color. You don't see many that color.

I have a 71 Demon. 383 5 spd floor shift. Was a manual column shift. Saved it from the crusher in 2003. Got it for 300.00

340's were one of the most underrated engines. I had a few 340 cars during a 30 year span.

There was a mexican versión made in México called GTS, manual transmisión and was the best beast ever made.

Thats a nice car i was 13 and my mother went to the mopar dealer to by a dart and they had a duster and a demon in the show room and the salesman gave me a demon and duster decal i have always wonted one or the other. 1971 was the best year for both

My friend had one same color with black buckets it had air shocks and M50's on the rear, he would hammer on the 340 till one day it sent a rod through the wall. We put a 360 in it he hammered on it till a telephone poled jumped out in front of it. That's a nice Demon you don't see many around.

Had a 76 dodge charger Daytona 360 V8. Manufacturer castrated engine performance . The year of 55 mph speed limit.

I have a 1970 340 duster with 3.91's. Not a highway car but stop light to stop light it's a kick in the pants.

In Australia this color was called Hot Mustard which was an option on the 1972 Valiant Charger RT 265 6 pack Hemi

nice car for damn sure and a friend of mine in high school had one back in the seventies It was bad ass. actually he one up the engine adding TWR pop up pistons for higher compression ratio. It was fast as heck.

Really great car, Matt. I remember when these had just come out, and they were very popular. I owned 3 Darts, A ‘64, ‘66 273 convertible, and 1974 Swinger with the slant 6. Also had a ‘66 Barracuda. Your car is stunning, and hope you enjoy it as long as you can.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-((

Gorgeous car! I have a 1972 Dart Swinger. It's a grandma car, original 318 2bbl, auto, a/c, single exhaust, Forest Green, original interior. 72 was the last year for the traditional flat Mopar grill--- after that, Mopar grills started getting pointy like Pontiacs. Also, it was the last year for the vent windows. I put 13,000 miles on the Dart in nine months before she started losing oil pressure. Now I face a dilemma--- get the 318 rebuilt or drop in a late model low mileage 360 Magnum. I don't trust aftermarket parts after watching Uncle Tony's channel. I'm leaning to the 360, but wish I could keep it original. What would you do?
