@juliaj96746 жыл бұрын
She didn't say she wants to party. Just that she wants to be close to action. Nothing wrong with that. Having a baby can actually be quite isolating. It's good not to be alone in the suburbs with a baby.

I live near the home (3rd home) . This was a huge mistake not buying when they could. The husband was correct. The wife really goofed.
@Cwgrlup Жыл бұрын
We were offered a spot on this tv series and how it works is these people have already PURCHASED a house before they even get on this show. The final pick is the house they already bought. The producers just throw on a couple of real estate properties to make it look like there’s a choice. The producers also want the couple to act over-dramatic and argue etc. They asked if I could “argue” with my husband and act like a fool on national television, and if we could pay a mortgage for the new home we were moving into (let it stand empty) and also stay in the home we were moving out of- basically they wanted us to pay 2 mortgages until they were ready to shoot our show. We told them no way and don’t keep bothering us to be on their show. Our real estate agent is the one who approached us to do this show and kept trying to talk us into doing it. The whole show is fake.

The husband is pointing out things that could be a MAJOR undertaking such as ROTTING WOOD and WATER DAMAGE and she's acting like they've only got to slap a coat of paint on the wall. They may have to not only spring for a new roof but the substructure as well. That is not cheap and it could go upwards from there. You'd have to be an idiot to blow those damages off just because you want to live "UPTOWN".....I bet realtors love people like her. If you're going to act so snobbish you should at least show that you KNOW what you're talking about, otherwise, you only look like an overgrown brat. 💣

People talking about how the realtor should have swept up the leaves. Well, for one thing, the house had been sitting empty for 2 & a half years plus it was a short sale so the bank owned it. I don’t think her commission would be very much. She probably had never even had been in it before. It was not her listing. I wouldn’t have bothered with it either.

You are adorable Trena. I love your comeback. You are a very classy lady.
@margiedenavarre79196 жыл бұрын
I agree, Dale. If I were the realtor, I wouldn't be above a little chore like sweeping up leaves in the living room so the house would show better. (And yes, I would mop and do a quick, light clean in other areas if it were easy enough. I mean, why not create a better impression if you can?). No, you're not obligated to do it, but common sense says "sweep up the dumb leaves."
@thomasrichards62455 жыл бұрын
Dana says- Yeah, my mom was a realtor for many years and she would have made sure something like that was cleaned up before a showing. Was it her job to clean other people's houses? No. But when you're a real estate agent, you either get the owner on-board with making their place it's most presentable, or you do little things to pitch in. In the end, it is effecting your potential commission after all. My mom would even do light staging, and bring things to make the house smell good/more homey. Sometimes she would put out a plate of cookies/treats and description sheets about the home & comps from the area at open houses she had. Every real estate agent is different about what they want to bother with (and the run down townhouse was probably bank owned, so no owner is available to get things more presentable), but a quick thing like leaves is such an easy fix (with all it's other problems, I don't think it would have mattered though). JMO.

Hannah no it’s not difficult, but yes definitely a hard working and dedicated job takes up a lot of time with clients and you have to really have a good eye for housing to help the client or clients out. Depends on their style of house they want or need, so trying to smash both of them together and find a “Perfect house” is a tall task.
