Heard this just a few yrs ago for the very first time. From time to time, I try to find this to hear it again, and usually, I listen over and over, when I do. Such a powerful anointed song. Listen to Running the Race also by Dallas. So thankful to have been told about, Running the Race, back in the 80s. Dallas is missed. He finished his race though and is in the presence of God now as all Christians are in the end of this life.

I have maintained for several years that modern music just doesn't have the impact that the older stuff does. This has applied to the Christian genre as well. I don't listen to the radio anymore, and have gone back to collecting vinyl and CDs from back in this era when the music was good and the lyrics meaningful. Don't get me wrong, there are exceptions, and I do enjoy the modern praise and worship (Hillsong, Bethel, Jesus Culture) kind of thing. But, I do just love this.

I am facing major oral surgery to remove Squamis Cel Carcinoma (Cancer) along with removal of my upper jaw and facial reconstruction. I could never go through this without having Jesus in my life. Whenever I listen to Dallas Holmes songs and and soothing voice, I feel my soul relax 😌 while God comforts me.
