Definitely worth confronting the problems and disagreements in your life head-on. Better to spend half an hour arguing and then have a weight off your shoulders for the rest of your life, than to just carry that weight around with you everywhere you go for the sake of comfort. People who never give anyone a chance to disagree with them never learn when they're wrong. And nobody is always right.

@@redgreen2453 I was raised in a highly dangerous, abusive household, where if I so much as spoke out of turn I would be physically assaulted by a grown man. I've still never been one to back down from my principles and avoid a discussion. I'd argue I'm actually too far the opposite for my own good sometimes. I have a lot of sympathy for people who grew up in similar situations, but I don't see it as a valid excuse for grown adults to stay in a state of arrested development. Conflicts can be difficult, as my PTSD ensures, but I still only feel like I've "levelled up" in maturity when I've face the thing I was avoiding and dealt with it maturely. I'm 22 and constantly find myself blown away by middle aged and elderly people who are at a stage of development I recognise from my childhood years, simply because their fragile ego won't allow for them to risk the humiliation or sense of threat or discomfort a disagreement can cause. Circumstances can 100% make conflict difficult to approach, but any excuse is still just that: an excuse. Avoidance and stagnation are essentially two sides of the same coin.

These episodes where we get to hear and watch them talking about life and their relationships with each other and what they've learned and how they apply themselves to the people in their lives is fascinating to me. 110% here for more episodes of the guys talking freely about life and conflict and who they are etc!!!

@@CH1K3N99As someone who is also trying to address possible ND, I took it as Rob was the one who wanted to have the upfront conversation and sort out the problems, because problems need solutions. The most direct route may be conflict, but I would say for the most part it’s just passionate communication. I related to his perspective thoroughly.

I absolutely love when they actually go through their opinions and discussions. it is really refreshing to see adults who are comfortable with who they are and feel confident in their friendship and can talk ab these things and resolve them. Rob's 19:20 idea for a episode was so good!! I hope they do discuss their favorite episodes, it would be amazing!

This episode is another reason why season 5 is the best in the series. There are so many iconic moments; Frank’s toe knife, Charlie’s explanation of cat physics, Dennis’ outburst about the apple-as Glenn said, it’s all laughs from start to finish.

Why am I sobbing over these long time friends smiling and talking about movies and jokes that didn't make it in and idk. Its magic. They still have it. They still respect each other. They are still IN it. They still got the jokes. Their hearts are all in it. Still. This literally brought a tear to my eye watching this podcast for the 397th time. Thats why we love it. Doesn't matter if you talk about Anne Wilson or the episode. We just like the inside baseball of it all and watching friends hang. We feel like we've always been a part of the gang.
