If we have already pushed the code to respective branch then why do we need to publish it show in ADF mode? What is a need of it since the code already resides in the branch now?

When u worked on datafactory mode directly you won't b able perform partial saves and also ci/cd pipelines will not be possible

You mean, to issue http request to Azure Data Factory and there by trigger pipelines in it ? If that is your question then No you can't do that directly. But there are work around you can use Azure functions and write code in it to trigger adf pipeline. And you can call that Azure Function using http request

The solution is to go to Organization Settings->Active Directory ->Switch Directory to the Default Directory!
