It’s only British Airways retiring it. Not every 747 in existence is retiring.

Traffic Cone Lufthansa doesn’t have any plans of retiring their 747-8 anytime soon, Cargolux only uses 747s and Pan Am is going to start up again with 747s.

Guys, Only British Airways is retiring their 747s, not all of them are being retired. You can still see 747s in the sky right now. Especially Lufthansa.

R.I.P. 747 you will be remember as the best airliner to this day! ever since i was born whenever someone mentioned to me what there best passenger plane is i would say 747 is my fav. on the way to uluru i went past long reach and there they had a 747 Siting there it was so big i was amassed.

RIP queen of the skies... I am lucky to have seen some headed to wales to be scrapped, and I am extremely lucky to live near Kemble and see multiple BA and a few other airlines 747s sat on the taxi ways. Rest in peace.
