"Weedy" 455bhp is a shit ton of hp for a small hatchback 😂 They're even fast af without mods, RWD 0 to 60 is around 4.6 seconds, X-Drive is 4.1 seconds! That's as fast as a V12 Aston Martin! Bet u love urs, 455hp is absolutely cracking! Glad u enjoy it! Is it stage 1 or stage 2?

I don't really get caught up in all the stage 1 / 2 / 3 bollocks, I had a remap to 411bhp 576nm initially, then a few months later had a 200 cell wagner sports cat fitted, and another remap to 455bhp/634nm. I had XHP3 auto box software map too, speed limiter removed, and the stop/start turned off by default (god that was annoying) etc. Plans this year are a Tu fuel pump, upgraded charge cooler rad and the hot climate mod, should see 480-490 bhp then. It's wild mate. Not really any quicker 0-60 (low 4 secs), as I can't get any traction, but traffic light racing is for plebs imo. The mid range pull when I'm rolling is ace, I have pulled away from RS3's, A45's, base 911's, Tesla's, Rangie SVR's, and a few weeks ago a DB9 lol. It's fast enough for a daily !!

"Only 455" not only is that a lot of hp even much more for such a leightweight.

@@nikitab10 It was a great engine and gearbox. Unfortunately, in a pretty wobbly chassis. I'm now in an OG M2, less power (365bhp) but the chassis, handling, cornering, is on another level.

Only 5 series and above has x drive pre 2019 on 40i models

there is a xdrive logo on it but it doenst seems like its xdrive.. looking slow af

Pretty sure if he wants to keep his transmission healthy with 750hp he cannot give it 100% from the start.

⁠it's not a 1/4 drag race, so no point in launching it hard and breaking stuff. They do 1/2 mile races, where only the exit speed counts.

Probably torque limited map to save the transmission. My RWD M140i with only 455bhp does 60mph in the low 4 seconds.

yeah it's pretty slow not much faster than my car 4.7 0-100 with 355 HP (but probably closer to 400 real world HP)

@@abc123fhdi I have heard lots of M140i dyno figures which state 460+ BHP standard cars, but I'm very sceptical to be honest, as dyno numbers are VERY easily manipulated. I had mine dyno'd standard on a very accurate dyno, and it made 336bhp. After a remap it made 411bhp, and with a 200cell wagner cat it made 455bhp. TU HPFP and charge cooler upgrade next, hoping it makes 480-490 !

@@DjNikGnashers that 0-100 figure in the vid is literally the same as stock acceleration with x drive, maybe it pulls faster after that, I mean if they trying to protect the driveline it can take a little more than that.
