This is the finish look of the 1969 Camaro also known as Grimm 7.0 by Lopez Customs! This car features a 7 liter Mercury Racing Motor and was just shown at SEMA 2019 in the Jet Performance booth. So many details in this build so sit back and hold on cause here we go!

Incredible build ....geez every detail has been well thought out, and executed to another level. You can look at it multiple times and see more and more subtle touches. The way everything comes together is at another level....and that engine sound !

Love the color!! Anytime you have such a high end specific built car there will be something someone doesn't like and that is fine because it wasn't built for them. What you have to appreciate either way is the quality of the work done. Gabe's interior work is just amazing as always. Cool to see them branching out.

Unbelievable build. Been waiting for this car since the first video. Beautiful car and that sound 🤯 never heard anything like it. Hopefully you guys can get your hands in the speedkore and magnaflow twin turbo charger that was at sema this year as well. Would love to see what makes that thing tick. It certainly is up there with the best of them. Like most twin cams, it's very raspy, which no doubt is accentuated by the surroundings. Hopefully it does sound like a grunty V8 outside......Grimm 7.1 should have a couple of turbos....just because you can......well done everybody involved.

CORRECTION!! The gas cap was 3D printed by Jonathan...owner of Sparc Industries. The same company who also made the steering wheel as well as the shifter knob, door sill plates and shifter lever. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due.

At first I wasn't digging the wheels and seats but once I saw they matched the exhaust color I think that's what did it for me. That shifter needs to be replaced and the gauges are futuristic as it gets badass!

Amazing build. Love the engine and engine bay, the transmission, the interior quality, general looks. Not so sure about the gold, would love to see some old school analog gauges (maybe with a screen in the center above the Lambo switches for extra info and rear camera). That engine must do some crazy numbers and sounds, 750hp NA... damn!

Very nice. Roadster Shop suspension. Since you've been in this car and most likely others with roadster shop suspension can you tell me how it rides compared to Detroit Speeds stuff like what's in Chris's blue mustang (not viscuous). Im looking for a suspension that handles the best but also the best ride quality in the street. Any input would be appreciated before I make a purchase. If there's other companies that stand out, please feel free to mention them as well.

I remember when they used that engine on the Vector back in the 90’s. Mercury race engines...The Vector had over 1,000 horsepower.

They didn’t use this engine in the 90s nor on the Vector. This engine is fairly new and hasn’t been put in any limited or mainstream production vehicle.

Much better than those ring brother custom Camaro....loves whole car except the centre dock rail is the badazz of custom charger by speedkore ....they made something like shiny metal rail going from touching centre dock to back(think there were no back seats i guess) giving interior a strong and bold look. Hey Shawn, howdy.. how is your brother's Porsche doin?? Well hope great since it's father of Motorsport world ... My dream is to make a pro version of 68 Hurst!! Have full design in my mind..

The grim Camaro would be a much better car with a Chevelle frame under it rather than a unibody frame. That's the only thing I would change. It would make the suspension a lot more suitable and tunable for the cars horsepower.

@@AutotopiaLA however I would like to see that car done in this way to a 67 Camaro I built one with a 427 big all aluminum engine. The power was just sick. Ended up having to say all the car never get into drive it after 11 year build due to medical. I even went as far as to put a ground effects kit on the car which I handcrafted and designed.

Amazing over the top build. I admire the hard work, countless hours and talent that went into building something like this, but it feels cheesy to me with all those Ferrari vents, Huracan switches, Tesla door handles, the super busy leatherwork in the interior, the digital dash looks like Nintendo graphics, and not to mention the blue, gold and carbon color combo is just not my cup of tea.

It's about exercising creativity, using cutting edge and unique technology, and showcasing skill. To be able to integrate all the components and get them all to work is more than just bolting them up and plugging them in. I'm sure if you've ever seen a Ferrari, or Lamborghini in person, you wouldn't think those details were cheesy. That's all premium stuff, put together in a 10/10 premium way.

Roman Macias it’s all about personal preferences! I personally don’t want to have the same switches from my Huracan in a 69 Camaro! I prefer more of a raw and pure muscle car experience, but that’s just me!

@@nik_karpage Right, as do I. But, if you're like me and you watch car videos and go to car shows and events, not all cars that aren't stock aren't terrible. Aftermarket mods and customs can be, and are, completely amazing just like this car here. All the gripes you have about this car would be out of place on a stock car, but the entire car is done in a cohesive way that each piece compliments the next.

Incredible build. That color combo just misses the mark for me though. Maybe in person I'd change my mind?? But man, ...it just looks kinda bland. I love the gold. Oddly. The interior is otherworldly. That exhaust is insane. All in all??? It's a 9.5. A 10 with a different color combo. JMO

Super nice build for sure!!! But on car with that amount of money spent on it why the extended startup? You'd think with unlimited funds the person who did the tune could have gotten the startup right!!! Other than that, it's a badass for sure!!!

That motor was almost 30 grand all by itself
