Hey man, I'm planning to buy this car but what concerns me is that it has only 95 Nm. How well does it go uphill? I had a 2011 VW Polo 1.2 (60hp and 108 Nm) and it was a nightmare.

@@agram4700 I have a big hill near my house and it gets up just fine but it depends on the rpm of course. With 2k rpm and gear 4 or 5 it wont accelerate up the hill but in lower gears its fine. Basically you might need to downshift before going up hill but I haven't found this to be a big problem as I drive with a heavy foot. My town is known for how many roundabouts it has and all the roads are dual or single carriageway. I drive everywhere pretty much full throttle to get up to the speed limit of 60 or 70 and then have to break as soon as it gets there for another roundabout, because of this my mpg is quite poor its about 37 maybe. If you are set on the vw up try and get the tsi model instead it will be much punchier, otherwise just drive it like its stolen and you'll be fine lol.

@iNSTAGiB Hey, I ended up going in a completely different direction and bought a 2016 Ford Focus 1.0 ecoboost 100hp. It's not as practicle as the Up, but I absolutely love it!

@iNSTAGiB The newer models are really good looking, and the 1.0 tsi engine has the best reputation of all tsi engines so it should run fine for at least 150 000km. You should also consider Škoda Fabia. Polo/Ibiza/Fabia are practicaly the same car, but I wouldn't buy the Polo (same as the others but with a more premium price). Good luck with your search!

Wie weit fahren Sie jeden Tag mit 60 PS? Ist 75ps genung für 80 bis 90 Km jeden tag auf Autobahn zu fahren?

@@AbdurRahman-rs8em ich fahre jeden Tag 70 km. Seit dem der Sprit so teuer ist aber nur noch 140kmh. Für mich reicht es. Man muss beim Up! Halt etwas Schwung holen bevor man überholt aber ansonsten reicht er für alles.

the reason he shifts late is bcs he needs to use the full gear to reach max rpm aka get up to speed quicker, not the best for fuel saving but the dude's on the autobahn and he needs to show speed if he put in 5th at 100 km as the up suggests he would take waay longer to reach 170

@@AC-db4ek It can maintain speed, but not reach it... Quite common with short gear city cars, 5th is overdrive speed for cruising and low fuel consumption, not for speed and power.

Hab zwei mal durchgedrückt auf einer fast leeren Strecke, kam auf 180km/h mit dem kleinen Flitzer 75PS. Laut anzeige, aber da kann man sowieso bissle was runter nehmen und wahrscheinlich half der Wind ein wenig ^^

Im vierten Gang so wie du es schreibst, macht er seine Arbeit, immer im Roten Bereich, ich bin aber im 5ten Gang 200 gefahren, wobei das GPS genau 190 anzeigt, es war wohl sein Tag, 180 laut Tacho ist eigentlich immer drin ... das Auto ist sonst perfekt.... leider geht er aber bei diesen Geschwindigkeiten auf 9 Liter Verbrauch, das liegt auch dann am kleinen Motor und eben bei den hohen Drehzahlen ....

So 6-6,5l bei 130-150kmh

Ich fahr meinen 60PS (der hat ein längeres Getriebe) mit 2.8-3.2l bei 100, um die 5 bei 120, um die 6-8 bei 150, alles ohne Klima, auf 14 Zoll Winter/allwetterreifen, nach navi, nicht nach tacho, der ist notorisch falsch beim Up/mii/Citigo. Mit 15"/16" Felgen und besseren Reifen gehts eventuell noch etwas runter. Ist kein Schnellfahr-auto, umso besser für Landstraße und Stadt, wenn dir entspannte 110 und mal kurze 150 reichen dann geht der auch für Autobahn gut klar.

@@nazimelon6653 Danke ! Ich höre oft immer das Gegenargument; dass 60PS Karosserien nicht für die Autobahn geeignet seien. Entweder ist der Spritverbrauch auf der Autobahn zu hoch wegen der Motorisierung oder es sei zu gefährlich.. Ich muss nicht schnell auf der Autobahn sein. Ich würde eher so 110-120 kmh fahren wollen.

@@eugenqwertz8258 Doofe aussagen die man immer wieder hört. Wenn Interesse am Wagen besteht, ich kann ihn nur wärmstens empfehlen. Meine einzigen Kritikpunkte sind die nur mittelmäßig bequemen Sitze und das mittelmäßige Infotainment-System bei den Vorfacelift-modellen. Der 75 und 60 PS motor sind faktisch identisch, die 15PS mehr liegen ausschließlich über 5000 umdrehungen an, die sowieso eigentlich keiner benutzt. Wir reden hier von einem 950kg fahrzeug, die leistung reicht absolut aus. Und, durch das länger übersetzte Getriebe dreht er auf der Autobahn niedriger und fährt sich schaltfauler.

@@eugenqwertz8258 gefährlich? Nee im 3. Gang kommt man damit schon gut weg vom Fleck, kannst dich auch vor LKW damit einreihen. Einfach keine Angst vor hohen Drehzahlen und Sound haben :D

I drive one of these myself and you can feel the aircon actually increasing engine breaking when turned on. It's noticeably more sluggish overall

Croatia is almost on the same level with Poland/Lithuania in terms of development and life quality. Definitely 2nd world, but not 3rd. No EU country right now can be considered 3rd world, even Bulgaria. P.S. If you mean 3rd world considering Cold War Era names, then you are right, but we are not in 80-s anymore.

​@@ashtray4313 I have been in Croatia multiple times on business trips. The country is vastly depending only on tourism as a main way of income. As for industry, agriculture or whatever else, it's as undeveloped as it gets. No disrespect just stating facts. The country is notoriously corrupt, the justice system is a big fat joke. Roads are somewhat acceptable as long as you don't turn anywhere else to explore (roads become pretty bad pretty fast). Railroad connection is a joke, trains and locomotives are an even bigger joke. Ship transportation is just awful, timing is off the scale. Public transportation is just bad, outdated and in general poorly maintained. As for infrastructure, it's as poor as it can get. They treat foreigners as they are illiterate and are always trying to rip them off with food prices, hotel accommodation prices, etc... Never had a good business trip there. Slovenia on the other hand IS a second words' country. It's light-years ahead of Croatia in every aspect.
