In order to expand the group to be open to more members, we've elected to add a Ranger detachment into Task Force Viper. The Rangers standards will be almost identical to CAG's, the selection process is slightly shorter but still extensive, and the character assessment will occur the same for all potential Rangers as it does for CAG. The goal is to create a group that blends seamlessly with the personalities we already have in order to build a Ranger unit to the quality and standard we accomplished in A-Troop.
This is not a secondary or afterthought section, this is simply an extension of A-Troop to allow us to recruit more great dudes into our unit. Most groups who attempt this try to swell a unit with numbers and it ultimately causes a culture shift and a divide. Our intention is to make a group that operates with the same standards and mindset as Troop but on different tracks with, in support of, or under support from A-Troop.
