What development ? He has been playing pro ball for a couple years, well I'm not certain how much more development you want , he can stretch the floor, he hits the three, he rebounds, he can put it on the deck, and plays defense, what more development do you want, he is not turning into Michael Jordan

Jeff Dowtin Jr. is going to get regular deal I think. Keeping that two-way open for Aluma. Though isn't Justin Edwards the only guy that has officially signed a two-way? if so we have two more of those. Any way you slice it, I think both Dowtin Jr. and Aluma make the team.

The reason I went McDermott over Bertans is Bertans' shot has been inconsistent the past couple of seasons. McDermott has at least still been hitting 40%+

Doug's career 41%from 3pt Bertans 40% from 3pt I would rather Bertans because of his FT shooting, Doug's FT% has dropped pretty low. Bertans is at 86% Doug is at 80%

I mean Gary Trent Jr is someone I would want if he took the minimum but I don’t know if he will. Don’t know if there are even other options for him out there to get a bigger contract. I know the Bucks also want him but I think they can only offer the minimum as well.

I remember trading for a player who could shoot…buddy held. Hes no longer here and saw his minutes decreased as season progressed especially in postseason. Why? Because outside of shooting he offers not much else. Especially defensively which Nick Nurse wants. Doug doesn’t fit.

I'd also like for them to sign Bertans & Morris to add depth & size to PF. If they sign Keve aluma to 2 way. It gives us 3 guys going into the season , even if none of them play a ton of minutes who can give us available size and shooting at PF which we desperately need. Then you can sign Dowtin + Payne to minimum contracts to round out our PG depth , so Maxey can play plenty of SG.

. Gordon Hayward. Y, Aluma may be our the best option at a true power forward, if Paul George doesn't play that position, and of course if Nurse doesn't pull another playoff move by not giving the younger players a chance.

If you think any of these summer league players are going to have the freedom to chug up shots over established players on NBA rosters ,you are hopelessly naive !" Offense is great ,but its defense combined with offense that makes a player valuable to a team he's trying to make it on . We already have a pecking order on who has freedom to throw up shots . If shooting is your only asset , than at the very most you can only affored two such players at yhe back of your roster !" They're not going to get the offense run through them over established players who can do more than just score . You need players who can pass ,defend ,and rebound more then a specialist . Those are the types of players the sixers need . Look , a player like aluma might get a two way ,but you may never see him in an actual game unless its a blow out . That defeats the purpose of why people want him on the team . He won't get playing time over more established players who can help you win in multiple ways other than offense . If his defense and rebounding is as impressive as his offense ,than you could see him making the team . Its more likely Bona makes the back end of the team because of his incredible ability to block shots ,play overall defense ,and rebound while shooting a high percentage from the free throw line . Thats who really we should be looking at . Someone with more than one skill set !""

Do not sign Doug🤣🤦🏻‍♂️… I’d rather the young guys in summer league those guys have younger legs and can defend better I’m cool on him we improved shooting we need to improve SHOT CREATORS and rebounding on the bench… I trust Council to be that this year!!! Would love Trent Jr but I’m confident in this roster… 2 minimum contracts would do… Another Guard and a true 4 not an undersized one… Prefer a stretch 4…
