I don’t want Paul George and his loser mentality near the Philadelphia 76ers! The fact he wants the team he’s going to join to have to give up draft capital so they can’t be as good as a team for a championship run so he can make a little extra money just shows what kind of person he is. Paul George does not care about winning, he’s James Harden all over again, hard pass hard pass hard pass! I would rather trade for Brandon Ingram,& KCP. If Paul George would just sign with the 76ers, we could sign KCP, and empty all of our draft capital for Lauri Markkanen.

He’s been talking to James Harden who already taken a pay 💰 cut when he was with the 76ers and was promised a max deal down the line and got stiffed by the general manager so now PG is probably gonna want all his cash 💰 up front (or a guaranteed contract )because he feels that the general manager can’t be trusted to keep his word however like him or not skill wise PG is the best of the bunch 💯🔥

Trust me, you want this option. Instead of Sixers signing him to a long contract, he’d come over on a 1 yr deal & then they control is bird rights for next year. Win/win. If this happens though, I think it means that PG just doesn’t like playing with the current roster construction of the Clippers;but also doesn’t want to fully commit to an East Coast team like Philly (at least not rn). Maybe next year he goes to the Lakers after LeBron retires. He can spend his last contract playing in his hometown was the reason he came to the Clippers in the first place.

@@76ersTV The Clippers are a 2nd Apron team, because Harden has a 53.5 M caphold. Therefore the Clippers can't receive a player back in any sign and trade, per new CBA. And per old CBA if the Clippers were to receive a player in a S&T, they would be hardcapped at the 1st Apron. Since Clippers would already be at the 2nd Apron, it is an ILLEGAL trade also. Shameful that this proposal got out in the first place without being mocked as illegal. There is so much desire for sections of the media to try to pressure LAC to offer PG more. PG wants to remain in LAC, but he wants at least $185 M (over 4 yrs). LAC knows they have until 6/29. Even after that, that, if PG opts-in, LAC can still extend PG, but it wouldn't happen until December. PG wouldn't be able to extend until December, for any other team he might end up with. S&T is illegal.

The only reason PG's people are pushing this, is because they know the Sixers are not going to wait until July 1 with 50 M cap space. Its a desperation move by PGs people, but the S&T is illegal, as I explained. LAC are already a 2nd Apron team with Harden having a 53.5 M caphold. If PG opts-out, there won't be a team with 50 M space and the desire to pay PG a 212 M contract. Then PG is screwed as he has no option. LAC has the leverage because they know PG wants to stay in LA. LAC will likely up their offer ahead of PG opting-in. But even then, unless PG does a James Harden, they don't have to trade him at any time. PG will have to compromise.

OG Anunoby is the guy they should offer that FA contract to. Good shooter and switchable defender, can play small ball '5' so maxey can play more transition when Embiid sits.

If want Buddy Hield, as I do, then must drop plans for an expensive acquisition like Brandon Ingram. And Paul Reed is all around better than Drummond and more valuable too. If CHI wants to keep Drummond, as I expect they will, then he stays in CHI. Andre doesn't want to play less minutes backing up Embiid. Drummond is a stone cold 5 who doesn't stretch the floor, one iota, can't shoot FTs and has become a poor defender, with feet glued to the ground on many plays.

Drummond is a better defender and rebounder than Reed, who is too small to play 5 and lacking the offensive skills to play the 4.

@@2021ruber Drummond is a cone on defense, at times. You are thinking of Drummond from 2 1/2 yrs ago. I've been watching him. Reed is still one of the better rebounders around, though no one compares to Andre for reboundng. Reed can shoot close to 40 % from 3 pt, was starting to to hit elbow mid range shots. People criticize Reed's offense because they don't like his form, and then conclude he's no good. Nurse is due to loosen the leash at let him play alongside Embiid. You can't play Drummond alongside Embiid. But it is all academic as Drummond doesn't want to sign with Sixers again, at any price, much less for a Vet Min. And Warriors just picked up the option on Kevon Looney, so there is no potential upgrade on Paul Reed. I hope to see BBall playing 20 mpg this coming season. There is no one Sixers are targeting who can replace Reed.

@@jerry25a The reality is that Reed is a tweener that was unplayable in the playoffs. The Sixers should check the status of Plumbee if Drummond is unavailable. This is just my humble opinion. Take care.

@@2021ruber Warriors just picked up the 5 M balance of his 8 M contract. If Plumlee is available for a Vet Min, I would take him . When Joel is out, there MUST be a 2nd backup 5. That person should be a 7 footer who could also been used in certain situations. And Reed was fine last yr in both playoff series, so that he is unplayable in playoffs is 100% misleading. Reed was asked to go in for Joel in 2-4 minute stints and had no help. Maybe you didn't know that team shot only 30% when Reed was in game vs the Knicks, who already were the best offensive rebounding team in the NBA. Wish RC4 was playing alongside Reed. And Reed should have been used alongside Joel, some vs Knicks. Then he wouldn't have been so raw when Joel took a rest. I want to see Reed playing 20 mpg at the 4-5 this coming season.

No doubt PG fits with the Sixers like a Glove. I know the age and contract scares fans but I believe him game ages well. I personally would like to see some younger studs but we don't have that much trade capital. Like if we get a Markeenen we have no picks let for anyone else as Aing will want them all. I like getting a player with giving up assets as you can then use them to add some more quality players

This kinda makes sense. Clippers are over the cap even with PG gone, so they could get a “decent” starter (Toby) who probably fits better with Harden dominating the ball. PG ops in, plays 1 year on a team that’s a better fit Sixers can pay him more next year assuming both parties are happy If not, PG is a whole FA & the Sixers are free of his contract

I would like them to just get good and consistent solid players and spend their cap money wisely and if you draft somebody they have to play now, not later.. I did not know Tobias Harris was still under contract, if you can utilize him to get what you want do it, because we do not want to see Harris in a sixers uniform ever again or Ben Simmons or Fultz, or Glenn Rivers coaching, those are the reasons we have not won anything the last 5 years.. Embid and Maxey do not need much help just not having Tobias Harris on the team anymore is a plus, just like Simmons.. So get them some athletic consistent scorers and defenders and a good bench and we can win finally, now that Harris and Simmons and Fultz and Glenn Rivers are gone, and we have a real coach in Nick Nurse.. So ownership spend and Morey get some real good players, because you are now on the clock.. Embid wants help and wants to win, otherwise he will be asking for a trade instead of signing an extension, then you have no team and no investment..

Come on guys. Stop it already 😅 the reason why crumble cookie is a bust is because he won't consistently shoot the 3 ball. Buddy Hello Heild isn't consistently a 3 point threat in big games. Maybe PG13 in not available but but a 40% 3 point shooter called Klay maybe just what the team needs. If only they can agree on not overpaying for his services. He averaged nearly 5 more points per game than the cookie and get this they were #3s.

Ridiculous discussion. LA can offer $221 million, sixers can offer $212 million. I'm not giving up a 1st to give him an extra $9 million dollars. Furthermore I'm not helping LA.
