The 7812 is a fixed voltage linear regulator that can output 12V at up to 1A current. It has an input voltage range of 14 -- 35V. The 7812 is commonly used in electronic circuits to provide a stable +12V power supply for various components, such as microcontrollers, sensors, and other electronic devices
