They are a reupholstered Ford Falcon seat from BA / BF XR6

Question what happens if you're off-roading and you get riverwater into the cabin with all the material stuck at the bottom ?

That material is a neoprene base, designed to repel water. Much better than the factory material that is usually Under these carpets!
