720 is better for handheld consoles because you can't play triple A games on 1080 so you have to set it to 720p and watch the game streach into oblivion, so it looks worse than if it was with a 720 screen to begin with

@@brazzer7330 the playstation portal can play at 1080p and its essentially streaming and only cost $200. But also its not really a handheld console, its a handheld computer, it even has windows 11 which is why im shocked at $800 it cant even properly play 1080p in this day and age

I love these handheld systems. I did my research on all the top sellers and ended up going with the Steam Deck OLED due to its install base, HDR, OLED screen and its heavily supported. Not to mention, nVidia GeForce NOW and PS Remote play work on it too.

@@Hazeman.Agree, the only thing that claw might do better is the thunderbolt, which is only appeared on intel cpu, so u can easily connect with an external gpu

It's interesting that when comparing to the other two devices, the Steamdeck had a smoother framerate than the Claw, but it had way more texture popin and visual glitches. I wonder if the Claw is rendering too much at once, causing the image quality to look good but resulting in these lag spikes. I also wonder about the constant freezing. It accelerates to 80fps, then suddenly reaches 0fps for one to four seconds, then returns to 80fps. It's almost like the game is loading in chunks as fast as possible then spiking when it has to load the next chunk of data. Like it's sprinting, then it has to take a breather. I know this is probably not how it works but that's what it "looks" like.

since its intel series card, there are some settings that need to be turned on in the bios if it isn't already, so that may be a reason for the mediocre or even horrible framerate
