It amazes me how so many still don't realise what a massive roll the railways did and still do play in keeping industry going. 🙂👍

@@Adventures_with_Sog yes I agree. I think they will be around long after I'm gone.

@ExploringWithBonnie13 There is definitely some nice spots around Lima with historic stuff either standing or mostly destroyed. I found small remains of a roundhouse by the CSX line at McKibben Street. Would of liked to see Sj tower, I think it was a control center for the DT&I track that crossed over Erie Lackawanna. I heard that it was burnt down, I'm wondering if the foundation is still there. At least I think that was the tower's name that was over there. I'm not too sure but it looked like there was also a WYE once too. Most of the area is covered by wildlife, so watch out for ticks if you ever decide to go hunting for remains of it. No issue at all with the roundhouse by McKibben Street. You can also find remains of the Erie track at Reese Avenue and South Central Avenue. I know I've been to one road that I had it. Must of been Reese. The tracks are more visible there. I'm hoping to catch a few other things.
