holy Al how many have you got on the go...toy have the exact same 2 bikes as i do ...i like this one better the mustang...i have 49cc putting in 212cc ..how do you think of the frames on these bikes?? are they reliable. . strong enough for 212 cc. aprox. 41 lbs only had mine a short while it's a bit of a sketchy ride tho..lol like to know your opinion on the frames. half affraid is going snap off especially here ..newfounldand, canada like driving on the moon ffs..lol
@Darthtribe3 жыл бұрын
I like these stretch frames alot. They set lower to the ground and with the added weight of the motor, the center of gravity feels alot better. The springer fork is the sunlite delux. I ordered it off of Amazon.. That was a few years ago so i don't know if its still available. The mounting plate is just a c channel. Modeled after the one that comes with the kit.. The frame is longer so i had one made at a local metal fabrication shop.. I took the original one there and said i need this so many inches longer with the same bends. I drilled my own holes. The tricky part is the front down tube on those frams.. Its much fatter than regular bikes.. So the clamp that comes with the kit will not fit.. So i had to custom make that myself.. So good luck on your build.. Just give it a try and you will figure it out as you go. Like i did..

@@Darthtribe thanks my friend . i wasnt to sure if the ones i seen on amazon would work but i can get those forks on amazon here in canada 244.00 canadian i believe ..thanks the mount same as yourself i had done at a shop. building sidecar for it haul my dog around..lol hopefully next coupld dayd be good to go. thank you very much again appreciate your info. n knowledge

@@Darthtribe i noticed in another reply of yours is your drive custom made as well ..the belt drive and sprocket. now i have noticed on amazon they have these conversion kits for the 2 stroke but not sure if work for 4 stroke or not...have to look into that..but they have belt drive and sprockets tho..i just happened to stumble upon em

This sounds way better than any other 79cc i have seen. Have you done anything to the engine other than the custom exhaust? Im going to be starting a build with this same engine
@Darthtribe5 жыл бұрын
No its pretty much stock as far as the engine goes. Thanks for watching.

awesome dude what kind of mount did you use for the engine? any mods done to the mount?
@Darthtribe4 жыл бұрын
the engine mount is an extended version of the c-channel plate design that comes with most 4-stoke kits. the front clamp is custom made to fit the wider down tube on the bike frame.

I was hoping maybe you could tell me how to fix an issue I am having with my bike. Mine is almost the same setup but with a 20 inch wheel. I think I have a 5-6inch pulley on the rim, with a 2 inch pulley driving it from a Jack shaft. On the engine side I have a 2 inch pulley driving a 3 1/2 inch pulley. (The 3 1/2 inch pulley is on the Jack shaft driving the 2 inch pulley going to the rear 6-7 inch pulley) the bike still seems slow and doesn't do well on grass. Alot of belt slip you think or not the right gearing? How fast does your bike go? How can I fix these issues with my bike?
@Baldys_projects5 жыл бұрын
Probably not enough reduction or the Belt is not getting enough tension on it but it sounds like it's overgeared or both.

Its the regular 79cc chain drive that comes with some of the four stroke kits. I just modified it a little.

@@863Monster bit late but mbrebel makes one, you just have to use the stock mounts from a 4-stroke kit, I built a 79cc micargi Seattle using it
