This lens is fantastic, I really love it and highly recommend it. No, f1.4 would be really hard to control, I usually drop down to f2.8 for more control.

I love this lens Gustavo! It's so beautiful to shoot with, I wish they'd make more full frame lenses! Very 80's, but yep, also pretty damn sharp!

Seriously no Distagon 35/1.4 ZM clone, that lens is worlds sharper, better than this 7A 35/1.4. No, i don't own that Distagon, but the Contax 35/1.4, which is a really fine lens. And the 7A 35/F1.4 Wen, 35/F2 Wen. Both are from their asking price way much better than this 35/1.4 lens, but for artsy reasons, and my old A7, i've bought that cheap 2nd hand.

That really depends on how good you are at manual focus, I'm pretty fast, but I'm not 100% sure I'd be able to hit every photo on point when people are moving around a lot like on a wedding day. I think I'd rather rely on an AF lens for wedding photography.

This is a stunning lens for street! The focus is just tasty!

The Mitakon Zhongyi Creator 35mm f/2 is actually okay, and I have used it before, but I really like the 7artisans 35mm f/1.4, it has such a buttery smooth image, I'd go with that for sure!

However, ZY Optics make other really awesome lenses, such as their 25mm f/0.95 and 20mm f/2, those are totally worth checking out. In terms of 35mm though, the 7artisans is a fantastic lens with a retro feel to it.

HLG3 all the way on the A7RIII. Only started with SLOG3 in the A7SIII recently.

It's FF, you may be looking at a different model.

Hi Gilbert, I'm sorry about that missing information, but to be honest, it's not really a lens that I would care too much about that kind of stuff, that's why I didn't include it. It's a cheap manual artistic lens with an 80's feel to it. If it was a $2k Sony lens I would be interested in its sharpness, but with this, just go with the flow. Here in this film I wanted to show the look it can achieve, I'm not really a pixel peeper, so this was about the feeling, the nostalgia this lens can produce. At f1.4 the edges are blurry as if you were looking through milk bottles by the way, at the center it gets tack sharp at f2.8, oh, and chromatic aberration is visible all the way through, so it really does feel like it's from the 80's. Charts tell you nothing about a lenses character, and character is just as important as technical perfection. After all, photography is an art and the final results is what counts, not pixel peeping at charts.
