At this point, all but the most devoted of that fanbase migrated to other Anti-Gravity Racing games like Redout. Note: That one in particular is on the Switch and is pretty good but has a differing skill ceiling that might throw some people off.

I'll never forget the feeling when i first played on this track as a kid. i was just blown away. pure adrenaline rush. the track, the soundtrack, the chaos. it all went together so perfectly. what an experience. nothing like it these days.

I started out with Snes F-zero back in the 90's. It was an amazing game at its time. When F-zero X came out, I used my allowance money to get that game Pronto and spent hours playing with my friends in the 4 player mode. Then F-Zero GX came, don't get me started. But then, I'm in pain as to where's my next F-Zero!

quite frankly, nintendo, you don't need to make an f-zero with some sort of new innovation. literally just do f-zero gx 2 with a few new characters and tracks and literally nobody will complain. it's been so long since the last game

It's the first F-ZERO game I've ever owned and got me into the series in general. If you can't get this, then try X on the Nintendo 64. Both are fantastic.

My personal favorite GX music. I've always thought that "Feel Our Pain" was intentionally made to sound like the most extreme racing music in GX because Fire Field was the original ultimate F-Zero track. It would've been pretty cool if GX had a 3rd Fire Field track that was the one and only GX track to have a difficulty rating of 7 stars, making Fire Field have the ultimate F-Zero track once again. 🔥

Fire Field: Almost nothing in the universe can survive here without strong heat protection, and thusly the place lacks much going on. The heat is used as a power source for some power plants and also helps with melting down metals. The area is naturally extremely hot, of course, and lava is just about everywhere. Crashing a machine during a race here could put you in even more danger than is presented elsewhere, which is saying a lot considering just how careless the F-Zero higher ups are when it comes to choosing safe places to host races.

Not really as hard as it looks (Like Aeropolis: Dragon Slope) but kind of annoying. I had to slow down on the bumps and the jump pads took a little trial and error for me to figure out but other than that it's actually pretty easy. Cosmo Terminal: Trident, on the other hand... oh, boy... 😬

We can kind of do that by boosting into someone while spinning. Just choose the side you wanna push em from.
