As a product of the 80’s myself, I wholeheartedly approve! I miss all the hardware we had: tapes for music, cartridges for gaming, cameras to take pictures, and phones with cords attached. Simpler times. Maybe that’s why I like DAWless setups so much…😅

The fact that the digitakt isn’t stereo and this jam sounded amazing, shows we put too much into specs. I really enjoyed this. So much, a used Digitakt makes sense. Well done.

These kind of incredible cool music made with these cool little devices makes such an impression. What a skills from Stefan. And you feel the love for doing this. So many hours of dedication and learning all the way to reach this level of performance. One big advertising video for Elektron and Roland. Hope they discover what you do and reach out to you.

Have you noticed how quick hardware is coming back?.... Daws are fine but they never belong to you and you cannot feel them! Just keep paying for the license and updates. Can't afford the Digitrak yet but its on the list. Nothing wrong with the 80s. Great jam. Thanks.

A better reference to the 80s would have been the Rubik's Cube, for the Nintendo GB was released outside of Japan in 1990 and is a typical toy of the 90s.

are you generally putting loops in the digitakt with a track like this, or is it mostly sequenced single cycle waveforms or something for the melodic content (aside from the s1, of course)? i see 1-3 are percussion, maybe 6 also. then 9 is midi to the s-1. there is some non-drum sound coming from the digitakt, right? just asking because i struggle to make sense of delegating certain rols to my digitakt outside of a drum machine because i already have two great drum machines and i dont like using sampled drums so i am interested in how others utilize it very nice track, btw. love it

Hi! The Digitakt tracks goes like this : 1 kick - 2 snare - 3 hi hat - 4 loop that I recorded the filter movements and some LFO pan - 5 Bass - 6,7 and 8 one shot samples that I played them melodically and track 9 (the midi track) is sequencing the S1. Cheers

Same here, 79 actually. I used midi out from digitakt to midi in (trs midi jack) to S1. Have a nice weekend too : )

@@StefanTorto these trs adapters are very hard to find in europe.. im basically looking for one before buying the S-1.. and still i cant find one..

@@ventzovv yes I know. You can ask someone with knowledge in cables to make one for you , it’s not hard. Be sure to be type A and not type B. You can google to see the connection diagram :) cheers
