The big difference is that in the past ten years, kpop has gone from being fashion forward to fashionable. It's basically gone from "WHAT is he wearing?!" to "WHO is he wearing?"... and as it goes with following trends instead of setting them, the modern scene is chasing fashionable styles, not creating them.

나만 그런가ㅠ 블락비가 선배 가수라 불리면서 후배그룹들이 커버무대 하는거 보면 느낌 이상해.. 대견스러우면서도 뭔가 아쉬운,, 커버무대보면 모두 멋있고 간지나고 한데, 블락비만 소화할 수 있는건 무대세팅 별거없이 씹어먹을 수 있다는게 보였달까ㅠㅠ 불낙지들이 언제 저렇게 커서 연습생들 찾아가서 가르쳐주고 있고 그냥 다 너무 신기해..

Block B was literally the only boy group I ever enjoyed as a guy K-pop fan. They never gave two fucks about their image and I remember when they entered into the lawsuit with Stardom, that nobody thought this comeback would ever happen and it did. Blocktober still the best month of the year.

Amo como año con año llega gente nueva acá porque otro grupo hizo un cover de Very Good, han pasado años y eso solo demuestra que aunque estén en hiatus, Block B sigue y seguirá vigente. Aunque mucho se dice que no son el único grupo extravagante o con un concepto raro, lo cierto es que siempre han sabido serlo en el momento adecuado y lo hacen de una forma tan divertida que son como un soplo de aire fresco en una industria que en muchas ocasiones ofrece mucho de los mismo con tendencias taan marcadas. Quizá como muchas BBC, llegué por un montón de chicos guapos y "perfectos", pero me quedé el k-pop por estos "7 tontos feos que tratan de hacerlo" lo mejor que pueden, eso a pesar de que me tocó apoyarlos solo los últimos años que estuvieron activos (los conocí como en 2016), así que me quedé amando toda la música que han hecho, pero también con ganas de ver muchísimo más, de divertirme y apoyarlos más. En fin, se me hace súper bonito y me hace feliz que siempre llegué gente nueva y los conozca porque quiero mucho a estos 7, pero también me pone algo nostálgica porque han pasado por mucho y me encantaría verlos regresar o siquiera tener un poco menos de incertidumbre al respecto del grupo, así que me nació desahogarme y por eso mucho texto. Actually, I was also confused about that... Everything is so... Normal now...
