Күн бұрынIn the summer of 2022, our Creative team traveled to Ithaca, NY, to spend a few days learning about 7Song (@7Songsevensong) and his Northeast School of Botanical Medicine. Our friend, esteemed herbalist 7Song, has been inspiring herb students at his school since the early 1990s. While some herbal schools are rooted solely in plant medicine, the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine focuses on the human body, critical thinking, and botany. As a self-described cynic, 7Song brings humor and practicality to an often challenging field of work.

I care deeply for this amazing teacher. If you can study with him, at any of the places, do it. I’ve never regretted spending time with him. I love his snarky sense of humor and his piercing responses. Yeh. I second, “National treasure”.

Lol. As I watch, a thought came to me. If he wanted an elevator pitch of his school, "If you like Simpsons, South Park, Futurama, etc style of humor AND you like herbalism, this place is for you." 🤣 I can think of several people who would enjoy his school if they were interested in herbalism. As always thanks for sharing.

Ok, it would let me edit my previous comment which should be: More teachers should use humor and critical thinking as teaching aids to help get all the new information people are learning into their brains. No wonder he’s such a successful teacher!
