$8,300 Blind PSA Reveal! Part 1 🤯 Jordans, Jordans, and more Jordans!

The day has finally come!! My very first PSA submission has arrived! I sent this batch of cards last June, so it took 9 months to get these back. 😲
The submission was almost entirely Michael Jordan cards that I pulled back in the early 90s or pulled in my recent Jordan Hunting videos. It's not all Jordans though - Kobe and Pippen make an appearance as well.
There were a few disappointing results, and a few amazing results. If you like see graded Michael Jordan cards, you've come to the right place!

Yeah, I started off ON FIRE, and then someone hit me with a fire extinguisher. 😄 I was slightly disappointed that I didn’t get as many 10s as I was hoping, but you’re right, when you start adding up the comps on the 9s, it’s hard to stay mad. 😉

Timing couldn't have been better as PSA stopped all subs (Economy and Value) until July, 2021 as of today! Take pleasure in opening your next few PSA boxes. Can't wait to see more! Awesome sub overall! Many of those cards are not easy to gem, especially that Center Stage MJ! That one was my favorite! You got TWO 9s on the Pippen rookies as well, I’m surprised that second one also got a 9 but I definitely wouldn’t be complaining about that if it was my card, haha. Bummer on the Skybox MJs, they seem to be grading those super tough, so I’m not feeling as great about the ones I’m sending in now. Biggest surprise was the 7 on that Shaq?! I feel like just about every PSA return has at least on WTF moment lol. But you crushed it man, congrats!

Thanks! Yeah, the Pippen were definitely super nice surprises! And I’ll just have to keep submitting ‘91 SkyBox Jordans. That is a must-have in a 10 for me. And I agree about every PSA return having a WTF card. 😄

Shaq’s expression on the back of that card perfectly summed up the grade for the 7 😆. But glad to see you got a ton of value and I believe the ones at the end were deemed trimmed. I don’t know about you but PSA really is a mystery when it comes to what can get a 7 but what can get a 10 lol. Congrats on the big 1k though 🎉🎉🎉

What a really stack of nice cards! It seems to be hard to obtain the famous gem mint 10 but your cards deserve to be graded, there really sweet, especially the beautiful fleer ultra, love it.

You don't get charged the grading fee for the 2 Jordan's that didn't get graded correct?

How much does it cost to get the cards graded? How did you send them? I have so many Jordan cards, didn't know they were so valuable when graded. Like you said, I thought the 90 Skybox Jordans were worth like a few dollars! Looks like much more now.

This is an old video, and values have come way down since then, but most Jordans are still worth grading if they're in excellent shape. Currently, it costs about $15-$19 to grade a card w/ PSA.

Part 2 coming out on Wednesday! Yeah, PSA is still crazy backed up. But the price increase should help all future submissions though.

@@davidnelson5722 Yeah. it's nuts. Check eBay sold listings. The last five have sold between $1267 and $1599. I lowered my estimate to only $1200 because Jordan prices have softened slightly over the past month or two.

Those rejected cards were miscut by the factory. I can see the tops of the cards are cut at an angle. It's somewhat common in junk wax basketball.

@@SageTheCollector Yup I have a few miscut the very same way, a 1991 upper deck jordan hologram and a 1992 fleer Shaquille O'Neal. I pulled both recently in the past year from packs.

That Jordan Ultra is so sick. I have a couple at PSA right now. Picture is from his last regular season game at Madison Square Garden as a Bull. Great cards all around! Those Skybox are a bitch to get 10s in. 😂

THAT SHAQ WAS NOT A 7!! What the heck PSA??!! I'm dissapointed that on the 'Sky box" Jordan's you didn't get any 10's. But that was GREAT over all! Great video!

Congrats on such a huge return. Since you may have opened a number of sets to find these gradeable cards, shouldn't the entire cost of those sets be included in your analysis??

Thanks! 🙏🏻 And technically, yes. But my breakdown is more about value than profit. To do what you're saying would be near impossible. A lot of these cards came out of packs that I bought in 1991, and who knows what I paid back then, and then I'd have to account for inflation. And how many came from a flea market? And how many came from Jordan Hunting videos? And *which* Jordan Hunting videos did they come from, since I paid different amounts for different boxes? Etc., etc., etc.. As you can see, it's slightly complicated. 😄

If there's no evidence of trimming, they should absolutely be grading the undersized cards. Smh They'll grade cards with mold and poop stains and paper peeled from the surface after it was run over by an 18-wheeler. Give me a break.
