Travelled to Munich several times and have visited most of the places highlighted here. For first time visitors to Germany Munich is probably the best city to be based in, there is so much to see in the city alone. Bavaria is incredibly beautiful. Just remember, in summer months it can be incredibly hot!

Now I find this 🤦‍♂️ I’ll have to go back. Indeed I was going to mention easy train journeys into the mountains of Austria but you’ve tagged some equally stunning places.
