Experiment no. 1. The soap and milk/dye have very different surface tensions due to which the phenomenon occurs 2. Induction heaters use magnets to heat up the base. Aluminum being a dia magnetic repels it. 3. the car keeps moving in the jar due to excessive centrifugal force. 4. refraction phenomenon causes the visible depth to be lesser than actual depth. 5. Iron being a ferromagnetic material is attracted strongly towards any magnet, the spikes show the direction of magnetic field. 6.highlighters usually contain mica pigments, SiO2, which on reaction with citric acid in lemon form a colorless organic compound which after further oxidation may give a rusty tint. Not too good if you want to keep your books safe. 7. The smoke is actually a mixture of CO2 and C (carbon monoxide may also be present) on compressing the bottle the gas readily condenses and on releasing the pressure the LDF forces become weak and it turns into a gas again. 8.everytime you put in a pin, smaller water droplets splash out which are seen at the bottom
