🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 2, Verse 20:
न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचि
नायं भूत्वा भविता वा न भूय: |
अजो नित्य: शाश्वतोऽयं पुराणो
न हन्यते हन्यमाने शरीरे || 20||
na jāyate mriyate vā kadāchin
nāyaṁ bhūtvā bhavitā vā na bhūyaḥ
ajo nityaḥ śhāśhvato ’yaṁ purāṇo
na hanyate hanyamāne śharīre
🪔This Self is never born; It never dies either. Having been born, It never ceases to be, again. Unborn, eternal and everlasting, this ancient One is not slain when the body is slain.

वेदाविनाशिनं नित्यं य एनमजमव्ययम् |
कथं स पुरुष: पार्थ कं घातयति हन्ति कम् || 21||
vedāvināśhinaṁ nityaṁ ya enam ajam avyayam
kathaṁ sa puruṣhaḥ pārtha kaṁ ghātayati hanti kam
🪔How can a man, O Arjuna! who knows It as the imperishable, the eternal, the unborn, the undyecaying, cause anyone to be slain? Whom can he slay?

वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय
नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि |
तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा
न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही || 22||
vāsānsi jīrṇāni yathā vihāya
navāni gṛihṇāti naro ’parāṇi
tathā śharīrāṇi vihāya jīrṇānya
nyāni sanyāti navāni dehī
🪔Just as a man puts on fresh clothes after discarding worn-out ones, so does the embodied Self, discarding worn-out bodies, proceed to take up new ones.

So far this is the best session although 3 verses are covered. Finely explained without adding many referrals , bhashyas, even without refering much of Adi Shankarachary's commentaries. Very precise yet explained beautifully. Thank you Swami ji. 🙏🙏🙏

I know that if one dearly aspires to know or have something, the whole cosmos conspires to have the wish fulfilled.I too dearly wished to know and understand The Bhagwat Geeta. Finally, my wish is fulfilled. From the innermost core of my heart, Swamiji, I pay my obicience to you. 🌹🌹🌹. I literally bathe my intellect into the stupendous philosophy of the Geeta and feel the Pristine White Light of Reality. Koti, koti Naman to you Swamiji. 🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹

It seems i understand why people say the whole existence itself is like a holographic universe when swami mentioned about the causal body moving to another when the gross body dies and the absolute remains.

This is the natural or original state of human. Now human has gone out of it. It makes more problems. If anybody thinks that I don't want this problematic life, I want everlasting happyness, that person will tallow this and get benefits. If Don't realise in starting of life, must realise before end of the life.

So many questions comes to mind when listening to this great man. Hope I word this correctly. I understand of the oneness or awareness that we truly are. But hard to see how what we identify as I. When this awareness interact with this object. And the different of object makes the different appears as us. But only when the interaction happens is when it's an I. Rooted by the awareness but not the awareness but a illusion of. And the knowing and learning of that we are not tha awareness is root of evil one. Just asking. Hope I worded to be understood

At around 49 minutes you say that Jnana yoga is the only direct path to liberation. But (at least from my limited understanding) in the Srimad Bhagavatam, Krishna and the sages say over and over that the path of loving devotional service to Lord Krishna (bhatki yoga) is the most direct and easiest and most effective path. Please advise. My mind is limited and I want to understand better. Thanks! I’m loving this series of videos on the BG.
