Dr. Vinod K.Mishra MBBS, MD, DM (Gastro) is a senior gastroenterologist , herpetologist, and endoscopist. He is an alumni of prestigious post graduate institute of medical education & research, (PGIMER) Chandigarh. He is a busy gastroenterologist performing about 1000 endoscopic procedures per month. He specializes in liver problems and all gastrointestinal diseases. He is trained in endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound.He has previously worked at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Medical College, Jabalpur. He was President of UP chapter of Gastroenterology society.
The GASTRO LIVER HOSPITAL, where he works is a gastroenterology and herpetology super speciality hospital. Hospital has MEDICAL, and SURGICAL wings. It has ICU and plenty of accommodation facilities of different levels. The hospital performs all complicated and advanced surgeries under team of very senior and experienced gastro surgeon . This is really great and credible information but we should not forget that cereals like oats, whole grain toast can be replaced with Indian roti and other cereals like millet , ragi etc. Also, Indian berries like Ber/bor (Indian jujube) Phalse (Wild Blueberries) Karvanda/karonda (conkerberry) Harfarauri (Star gooseberry) Rasbhari (Cape gooseberry) Shahtoot (Mulberries) Gunda/Lasoda (glue berry) can be used . They will be local , fresh and less expensive.

I read that too much millet/ragi causes goiter and thyroidism. It also prevents absorption of other nutrients and minerals like calcium and iron.

@@bahaar2825 Very interesting. I also found some articles claiming that. However, the culprit seems to be gluten so even wheat should be consumed in limited quantity. Overall South Indian breakfast that is fermented rice based seems to be the safest bet.

Respected Dr. , you have advised to take green tea in break fast . I used to take one cup daily in empty stomach for a long time but after one month continuous taking, I used to suffer in amibiosis. Is it for that reason or something else. What would you suggest ,SIR . Namaste

Amoebiosis is the disease caused due to micro-organism known as amoeba which present in dirty or un-potable water. As we all know that drinking boiled water or green tea will kill microorganisms it means the disease you suffered have no relation with green tea, you have drink water from some unhygienic source

Any four daals soak, grind, steamed cheela or lightly oiled cheela with curd on two times a week. Next two days boiled egg. Next two days Palak&Paneer over whole wheat toast. Could have made the lecture meaningful. Where do I get BlueBerries in Kanpur?
