The commentary about Dr. Fate being "too much like Dr. Strange" and Hawkman being "too much like Falcon" are laughable. In both cases, the DC character pre-dates the Marvel one by at least a decade or two.

Of course you know that the falcon and Dr Strange were inspired by Dr Fate and Hawkman. Not the other way around.

Black Adam is a Villain from Captain Marvel , so he was the only one I was expecting to see on this movie . Weird times when heroes are treated as trash , but villains have movies glorifying them . Who is in control of Hollywood? Lex Luthor and the legion of DOOM ?

I’m very interested in this movie. They’re adding characters I’ve liked from the comics like Hawkman and Atom and Dr. fate. I’m ready to see how they portray Cyclone.

I hate comic book and movie reviews by people who obviously know nothing about the characters and did little to no research on them. Just read the script, no problem mispronouncing the names of long established characters, (Osiris: OH-sy-ris, not Os-R-us), and glib comments about minor similarities between DC and Marvel characters, (Hawkman/Falcon and Dr. Fate/Dr. Strange). of course you don't have to know the characters to review a movie, but it helps to study the source material a little more.

The scene with Atom Smasher reminds me of the cinematography in Watchmen. It just looks like mythos in action. I’m pretty in love with that.

Doctor Fate > Doctor Strange Can't change my mind

This may be the DC movie we've been waiting for...

so no one's gonna talk about why black Adam is bald now or why they didn't bother slapping a wig on Dwayne Johnson?.

Dr Fate first appeared in 1940 in DC comics. Dr Strange first appeared in Marvel comics in 1963.

Glad to see Shahi get a role. The few thing I've seen her in, she seemed criminally underused, like the writers couldn't figure out what to do with her. I hope she breaks through this time. As for this group ... what a bunch of nerds! They're all archaeologists! If you want to defeat them, toss some old artifact toward them and watch them all stop what they're doing to examine it. ;)

Since Marvel had so much success and DC is supposedly chasing Marvel I can understand why some people may think DC is copying Marvel. But I really wish the KZfaqrs who make these videos would let people know the truth about these characters.

Watched the video, and I'm a little pissed about the race swapping stuff. This is mainly because if they wanted that diversity target using the JSA, why the HELL did they not include one of the coolest members of the JSA, Mr. Terrific? Olympian, third smartest man in the DC universe, inventor, and has a mind so sharp, it was completely wiped including speech and reading and he retaught himself everything. It was just a set back for him. And when I say he retaught himself everything, the guy has *14* PhDs! He also has black belts in six martial arts and is completely invisible to all forms of electronic detection. The guy is all around awesome. Marvelous Videos should make a video on him. He's worth it. And if they wanted a young black girl, the JSA had both of Black Lightning's daughters in it, Thunder and Lightning. Both of which can hold their own, though there would be some power overlap with Thunder and Atom Smasher since she has density manipulation.

This is a DC resurrection Film .. this will finally set the Bar where DC should be at and hopefully they just follow suit with everything else come the Future..

I'm not knowledgeable about comic book characters as many people are, and by that, I don't know much of anything about Black Adam. However, from watching the movie starring The Rock, I dig him. Dude was legit intense with controlled rage the entire movie and he gave zero fucks about killing those that needed killing. If anyone hasn't seen it yet, don't miss out!

Doctor fate & Hawkman need their own standalone movies

Black Atom looks good. Some input/backgrounds - relative to CW shows Dr. Fate sounds similar to Moon Knight’s origin a bit. A “spirit” calls out to archeologist & he accepts certain powers. Similar for Hawkman. “The hawkgirl” is sometimes know as Hawkgirl. She had a good 2 episode arc in “CW: Arrow/Flash crossover-arc” with Vandal Savage. They were brought up again in “CW: Legends of Tomorrow - season 1”. Atom Smasher had a good arc on “CW: The Flash”, sadly a very short one. Morgan Edge has good arc in CW (Superman & Lois - s1). Intergang is brought up in the new animated Catwoman movie on HBO: Max (“Catwoman: Hunted”)

Hearing Dwayne Johnson was playing black Adam I was kinda scared I can't really seeing him playing a role like this. But hearing that he cares about his role gives me more hope

In the comics, Dr Fate is a cosmic entity. Meaning, he could snap his fingers and beat the shit out of Black Adam. I am guessing they are toning him down for the film.

Black Adam is called "Black" because he is originally from Wakanda. He is Black Panthers third Cousin. There was a DC and Marvel crossover in 1987. Fun fact for all you casual fans 🥱
