In this video, I cover 8 different money-related decisions to consider if you're planning to leave your job -- whether you have another one lined up or not. Here are some of the topics I cover in this video: 401(k)s, FSAs (Flexible Spending Accounts), health insurance & COBRA, life insurance, and more!
While this is a detailed video (and a lengthier one than usual!!) keep in mind that your situation may be unique with other things to consider. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but I hope it helps!

Thank you for this information! I have set a date to leave my job however I have never considered some of these things. Of course I’ve saved saved and saved but never thought much about insurance coverage, vesting dates and ways to maximize my FSA accounts. Great video!!

The life insurance question is really a big one for me. $1M for $30/month is such a nice benefit

These are things I wish I would have known 10 years ago when I quit my job to be a stay at home mom! I cashed out my 401K which was worth about 28K and the taxes and penalties were absurd.

Right?? I wish I knew all these things too, but I'm glad I learned what to do with my 401(k) afterwards!

I never had an emergency fund. This is wrong but it was the best that I could do. I then used Lines of Credit for years. Now, I am going to create an Emergency fund. I am about to be 63 and I am financially free and retired early. I did it ugly, but that was the best that I could do at the time.

Right or wrong is irrelevant if you're doing your best! I think sometimes credit is necessary to use when it's a necessity to live, or when used for leverage intentionally and/or strategically. In fact, I'm doing that now in my own life!... In any case, CONGRATS on being financial free and retired!!!!!! 🎉

Hello 🍠 Pay attention to video editing also. This is quite low, edit in good style. Because it is very important in your video.
