Is having 5 apps with background location access much more draining than 1 ? I would have thought Android handles locating the device, then communicates the latest polled location to apps when then demand it.

I have a Pixel 5a and it used to have the Battery Optimization for individual apps right in the settings. The Android 12 update ruined it like it did most things. Now what you have to do is individually go to each app's information in your home screen and manually change it. Most apps are by default optimized, though.

I believe there is a setting where the charger will trickle charge the battery so that you can leave it chared overnight without fear of reducing its longevity. Is this true?

I've been kinda using my phone alot charged and when I put the charger out and wait for like 2 minutes my phone just instantly shuts down. Does that have to do with my battery breaking? Or it's just being use while it's charging

my 4a 5g battery really scuk ass.7 month of usage.battery idle is where its grind me so much.6 hour of sleep,i lost atleast 10% or more.i.cant find what apps draining my battery so much.update after update,still doesnt fix anything.i can even see battery percentage number drop every 1 or 2 minutes.batteries life is what attract me to buy this phone,but,not getting what im paying for.
