@T L Yes. Technically correct lutz is: 1. Outside egde - she has it. 2. Toe-pick assistant and 3. Less than 1/4 prerotation. She doesnt have toe-pick 100% but truth is that she doesnt have full blade assistant either - she has something between - but its not correct. And less than 1/4 prerotation - she also doesnt have it - she has 1/2.

I think there is definitely a bonus for russian skaters. Like Anna's 4Lz+3T at the Grand Prix Finals: it's a VERY low toe pick and also, there's a lot of pre rotation, it seems like she is in the air after the 1/2 mark. She is an amazing skater, maybe one of the greatest of all time, but there is definitely a huge Tutberitze bonus. Just my opinion, I'm interested in what you think about it :)

Nice to see Anna still using a similar 3Lz + 3T in her Master and Margarita. Love how she dances and skips through the transition. Also I wish Sasha did more 4T jumps.

She had a very consistent quad toe in 2019-2020 a consistent quad lutz in 2020-2021 and a very consistent quad flip in 2021-2022. I think she fell only on quad toe once or twice in her first senior year. And I think has only fallen on once on her flip this season. But I only think she has landed quad toe once this season at test skates. At both olympics and nationals it wasn’t clean.

@@cynthia1731 i dont know what you are talking about... Anna has never shown a quad toe at competitions. She famously stopped training the element because it caused injury in the year before going to seniors.

Года четыре назад я всей душой болела за Сашу, и была очень огорчена , когда она стала ошибаться и все медали брала Аня! Ну, а теперь я думаю, что там что то недорабатывают они с Сашей, что-то не получается... Как то так...

Проанализировал-все 7 первых мест у Трусовоц и Щербаковой. Ну и конечно хоть Саша и взяла всего бронзу ЧМ-2021 в Стокгольме-но только сейчас обратил внимание-она ведь четверной лупанула с поднятыми руками( я уже не говорю о том что квады на этом ЧМ сделала только она чистые-правда из 5 всего 3 с натяжкой но остальные вообще их завалили).

Sasha has the most expensive 4 flip at the 2022 European Championship, but we know perfectly well that Sasha has the wrong edge on the flip. she is a hostage of Lutz's technique. However, the judges turned a blind eye to this. You may notice that the judges become too kind when Russian figure skaters perform

Thank god Sasha landed her 4 lutz combo. If Anna had the 3 highest scored jumps I would’ve lost it.

Anna almost beat Sasha by her non existent lutz. Let that sink in. While Sasha does not have that minimum prerotation technique, at least her edge is correct. Out of topic, the highest scoring jump in the men discipline currently belongs to Samarin when he landed 4Lz+3T in the Rostelecom 2019. Same with Anna, he also does not have a Lutz and to top the insult, the jump itself had tilted axis.

@@doesntcare9804 she usually gets her (!) on her Lz/F. But almost all skaters have troubles with Lz or F edge. You can't be forced to retire just because of it..

@@feyanormorfol2457 just because prerotation doesn't get called nowadays doesn't mean that its correct technique. Many skaters don't get a e or ! call on their lutzes when they jump from an inside edge, so would that make it correct? We're not saying that Anna should retire, we're simply pointing out some flaws in her techniques that make them imperfect. She's a great skater but everyone has something to improve on :)

What is all the fuzz about prerotation about? As a physicist, I'd say if you are not rotating by the time you leave the ground, you will not be rotating in the air either. So isn't "prerotation" a necessity? BTW, my favourite is Alexandra Trusova.

@@DukRishele ещё раз повторюсь в эстетическом плане. Камила лирические образы очень хорошо передает. Но маленькая головка,широченные плечи, длинющие ноги- ей бы в балет. Ну в общем на вкус и цвет,как говорится. Саша с Алёной в эстетике прыжка- сам заход и исполнение мне больше нравятся. Камила прекрасная фигуристка,но я олимпийского золота желаю Саше, вот заслужила она и всё тут.

The prerotation technique is a genius idea to win but at the same time cruel to the sport and skaters that have textbook technique. I really hope the judging will get fair soon, so all the "quads" get at least >> for the stolen rotation at the beggining of the jump...

Quads are cool but I think the fact girls are doing triple axel is stunning. Add a triple toe and omg wow!!! Kihira's was gorgeous. I've always thought Brian Boitano and Viktor Petrenko had the next triple axel but some of these girls are rivaling them. Like Mao and kamila.

The best technically for me is still Midori Ito. The Russian ladies are doing more difficult jumps but there's something about Ito and Kornastaya (sorry I don't know how to spell her name, the triple axel Russian teen) where I find their best performed triples are bigger, higher and faster than the other two who can do those impressive quads.

Ito has insane height. Kostornaia has good height but nowhere near the 60cm+ height of Kamila Valieva and Trusova's best quads. Her jump looks high because she's tinier than most of her peers.

Midori ito's triple axel was fricken scary to watch because of the sheer power she had going into it.....and even today, her triple axel is incomparable. Kostornaia's looks really nice when she does it 😊

In the slomo replay of Trusova’s 4lutz, you can clearly see her toe pick turning over, thus cheating the takeoff.

Still amazed at how Anna isn’t edge called on her 4Lz. She’s always on a flat or inside edge. I don’t remember ever seeing a true 4Lz from her.

прыжок лутц исполняется с внешнего ребра. типичную ошибку при исполнении лутца, переход с внешнего ребра на внутреннее, называют на сленге "флутц" (т.к. с внутреннего ребра исполняется прыжок флип). по правилам неверное ребро должно караться понижением базовой стоимости прыжка на 30% и минусовыми GOE. но у щербаковой судьи никаких рёбер не видят и плюсуют по самые помидоры её флутцы позорные

@@user-yi8rt5zq9e лутц дороже флипа - его выгоднее делать, вот и делает. Лутц в целом самый дорогой прыжок

@@user-mz5ob3oq1m Are you acting stupid? You don't know how many times the referee pretends to be blind? This girl has been overscored many times. Look closely at her jumps, a bunch of mistakes. Too obvious. 🤷♀️ My goodness. Often under-rotated, exaggerated prerotation ,flat ,flutz, full-blade jumps, slow gliding...

What does GOE mean and why does it keep changing for the same combo?

GOE is the grade of execution, ofc the judge can't give the same score to the same combo if one is better executed than the other.

@@horus7416 Thank you for your explanation. I was confused because I come from a gymnastics backround and there the value of a skill has nothing to do with the execution. Each skill always has the same value no matter how it is performed. (Unless it is so badly performed that you can't recognize it.)

@@lyssyr1711 Which kind of gymnastics? Because in Artistic and Rhythmic gymnastics, there is also the execution grade so it's the equivalent of the GOE

@@horus7416 In artistic gymnastics you have the difficulty value of each individual skill and a general execution score of 10. From there you deduct for every mistake. The value of the skill exists seperate from the execution score.
