I don't go hiking without a spiderweb stick (to hold up between narrow gaps or low branches so I wouldn't get them all over my face, it's also great to lift smaller fallen branches off paths and when I'm going up or down hill I also use it as a walking stick), and something to cut grass and branches with that can also be used as a weapon (most often a sickle if it's spring-summer, but I also use pruning shears, a saw and a machete). okay so actually I clear up paths in a nearby forest, this isn't regular hiking 🤣

😊 A very interesting video... CONGRATS ❤ Sometimes we think we are tottaly prepared but is always someting missing in the worst moment of our hiking travel! 😊 Very important stuff, not everthing was said but I think this is not for the begginers...😊 Although, if you are a begginer, there a lot of info in books or in the net...😊

I’m pretty sure it’s mainly about day trips and not multiple days or weeks. If you’re out for multiple days, you’d obviously have a tent and wouldn’t need an emergency shelter like that. But what things do you think are unnecessary in the video?
