Motion blocks are essential components in Scratch, a visual programming language. They allow you to control the movement of your sprites(characters or objects) within your program. Here's what you need to know:
1. Moving Sprites: You can use motion blocks to move sprites around the stage. For example:
move (10) steps: Moves the sprite forward by 10 steps.
turn right (15) degrees: Rotates the sprite clockwise by 15 degrees.
go to (x: 100, y: 200): Positions the sprite at coordinates (100, 200).
2. Direction and Bouncing:
point in direction (90): Points the sprite in a specific direction (e.g., 90 degrees is right).
if on edge, bounce: Makes the sprite bounce off the stage edges.
3. Glide and Smooth Movement:
glide (2) secs to (x: 300, y: 150)`: Smoothly moves the sprite to the specified position in 2 seconds.
set rotation style [left-right]`: Sets the sprite's rotation style (left-right, all around, or none).
4. Reporter Blocks(provide information):
(x position): Reports the sprite's current x-coordinate.
(y position): Reports the sprite's current y-coordinate.
(direction): Reports the sprite's current direction.
