Another player thoughts/additions here : For leveling the bike race career i'd suggest Burnt Rubber / Welcome to Riders instead of the swell since they're almost similar in length but you don't drift on mud And also i'd recommend going for top3-4 in elite diff rather than win in expert it goves more exp

Been playing the game since beta, and i think for controls you should use trickster mode. Obviously depends on what sport one will concentrate on, but a majority of players of this game focus on the sports with good tricks like BMX or Slopestyle. Just know if you will mainly use sports that are for tricks, use trickster mode right in the. beginning in order to get used to it, trickster allows you some crazy scores while doing tricks

It's a good thing you mentioned the year pass. If you don't the game free, it's on sale until April 27th. Gold edition is $25 and comes with the year pass.

Hey Cruck amazing skills! Watching your videos i have a question for you: how do you land on walls or rocks so smoothly? Just the way you turn your biker because for me it does always rotate too much or not enough. For sure I need more practise but I feel like there a bit more into. Thanks for the tips!

How do u keep the camera stable when doing flips while skateboarding. When i do flips the camera isnt at an angle where i can see my landing

Honestly a tip from me about controls, only about 8 hours into the game I realized that R2, L2 and R2 + L2 made you do different tricks. Idk if the game ever explains the difference but that's how it is, at least on racer controls

I only started playing a few days ago (>500 stars) and really really enjoy the game. One thing I found that’s not necessarily a game feature, but if you just go to the top of a mountain, drop a session mark, turn on your Spotify in your headphones and get rid of the game music, shredding down a mountain is infinitely more enjoyable 😊

Man... Coming straight from steep to this game is almost like a culture shock. I can't tell if the controls have been over-simplified or over-complicated. But they are VERY different!!! Even when you set them to "steep". And im trying to break about 4 years of muscle memory.... Not going so well for me 😒 I did just get the game yesterday, but this is an unexpected adjustment that feels counter intuitive to how we've been playing these sports for the past few years. I like the game so far... But this is quite the hurdle rn

its just a new game g, games evolve and so do the controls, me who was a skate 3 player for years, i felt right at home with the trickster mode

A moth late with this comment, but same. I don’t really enjoy the skiing because it is just too extreme. I miss the ‘chill’ skiing and skiing tricks that steep has to offer. I’ve just dedicated this game to the biking part honestly😂

@@TMHyt has it gotten any better for you? At this point I've gotten like 3,100 stars lol. It definitely gets easier over time. Steep for sure has better snow mechanics for the snow related sports, considering the entire game is based around snow and snow only... but once you get used to how RR works it all becomes second nature. At this point id probably have issues if i went back to steep 😂

I think i messed up, can u pls help. How do I still change my purchase to gold edition, its much cheaper bcoz it has the base game and year pass in it.. i only bought the base game without the ywar pass if I buy the year pass seperately its more expensive than the gold bundle combined. Help

Left or right on your analogue stick if you set your controls to Trickster. If you haven’t done that it’s the buttons on your controller

tip 1: it's not steep 2 and the snow sports are not very good, tip 2: the bikes are the best part of the game.

Yep it was basically the first riders republic but with only snow and sky sports. It was beautiful game with much more realistic graphics and extremely good mechanics if you like riders republic it’s worth a look. And I think it’s on ps + if you have it, they did just take of of game pass though.

i agree with not very good, i would say they are good though...in a perfect world riders republic would of been a $40 DLC for steep or something

I agree with that. The snow sports weren’t awful but they weren’t as good as steeps. Ya if the bikes were just a $40 dlc that would’ve been optimal. Though the wing suites we’re definitely an improvement. I really hope we will get a steep 2 someday.

Must know tip it cost almost $200 dollars or more to enjoy the skateparks and all the things you can ride. and the rider customisation is basically micro transactions it like buying skins on fortnite save your money folks

@@JimmyCruck I have a RTX 3080 and 5800x and a laptop with a 12500H and RTX 3060. It has horrible VSYNC stutter on both systems. I love the game but I enjoy your vids more than the actual game right now

There must be something else off with your system. I have an i7 10700 and rtx 3070 and get super smooth game play averaging about 90-100fps without any issues. Maybe try turning off vsync (I have it off)

yeah im on PC low end (ish) rig....RX6600 running in a 12th gen i3 but im getting 110 fps super smooth, (1080p) it does crash once in while but i think thats server issues more than anything and its rare enough to not worry to much, i haven't even checked vsync or any other graphics setting as it just hasn't needed my attention im running on whatever the game set itself up with and haven't needed to adjust anything, I may play around some see what can be changed but it looks great plays smooth as so I havent as yet bothered .

well it looks good but seems very boring and super easy. also where is the actual races. Or is it just ride around and fall asleep, exploring the world on whatever dumb things come out you pocket. A jet pack really. i prefer downhill domination, this kinda sucks.
