this format, the fights, everything about it is AMAZING. AOE4 may not be the "golden" age of 1v1 RTS. but I would bet everything its the best FFA RTS.

I absolutely love this idea for unknown names, I was suggesting this to Drongo for Outback Octagon 2 where only the caster knows who's who. It seems minor but is a huge diff when a lot of revenge/minor (brotherly) teaming/specific targeting (of Beasty happens a lot more than you think lmao

Actually, I think it would be pretty boring to the viewers. Imagine like this, Oh nooo red attacked yellow now blue is dead.purple and pink are teaming only to find out after 90 minutes, it's beasty and 3dbee. Who gives a shit for that kind of lame stuff.

to see the game keep getting bigger i would def give some money for more tournaments, it would be dope to see a big community event. 1hour in and 1500 views we could all put in a dollaaaaa

Great idea to be used as a catalyst for public image, but investment in publicity and popularity should be done by the developer/publisher That’s why we buy the game, we support the developers who support the game. Buy DLC so they get return on investment and reinvest into the game….

@@brennanperdue2235 I agree. But then if it’s up to them, it’s also investment on their end. They did build a career on making content for the game. In the end we are consumers. We buy the game to support the game, the content creators gamble on whether they will be successful based on the success of that game and that also takes investment. I’ve made a circular statement but yeah… we subscribe to the game and the content creator. You made it sound like outright donating in your original comment like some communist shit but I think we agree 😂

I reckon all players should get pseudonyms based on voice lines from AoE 2 or even 4 (same rules otherwise). I think that would be a bit more fun and definitely funnier to see "ich willen" slaying "fisk" or whatever other silly things they say.

I don't get why people call ozutzu op. Honestly, can someone explain me? They are basically handcannoniers(or what ever they are called) with MUCH slower fire rate same dmg small aoe and good vs buildings. What makes them op?

Love the tournament. I think it would be clearer in the future though if you had a visual board at the end marking which player is which color, how many points they got and how. It is a little hard to keep track as the viewer without it.

Japanese need a nerf across the board honestly. Feudal samurai rush is basically unstoppable if you do not have feudal knights or feudal MAA. and imperial japanese is overpowered on so many levels it is crazy

The names should be... green, blue, yellow... I think give them all FFA Gamer name is a mistake. It is important as we see that games message system is not in colors.

First blood rule to encourage/reward early aggression. The point per elimination is to discourage camping. The wonder/sacred rule I assume is to stop backstabbing for easy points but also reward doing wonders against larger number of enemies. He did mention the orange elim point split for green but think he added it wrong for teal (cbf to check).

wouldnt it be great to have a map gen that you can control with sliders? imagine like 70% cliffs strength, 35% water strength, 90% wood strength, 40% gold spawn, 15% stone spawn, 60% berries, 0% deer, 0% wolves, 10% boar, 3% deep fish, 16 relics... if the map editor wasn't so shite i would make it myself.......
