Can you do a video on relationship types? My bf...I think i...I dunni what we are. I don't talk alot but I enjoy being around him. But he's so cold and distant and show me what he wants me to see. I cry when I haven't talked to him over a few days, and think stupid thinks that he's doing. We barely talk about our issues and...its heart breaking.

Emotional attraction is really painful. I've genuinely experienced this with one person only and I get upset and hurt if they're not around. It's such a hurtful and a delightful feeling both at the same time. Feels like obsession. It's so much harder to let go of someone who makes you feel this way instead of someone who you're just infatuated with.

@@Phoebe_Games43 sorry for the long post in advanced, quick summary at the bottom don't give up, well actaully that's what I did sort of. I am currently in a blossoming wonderful relationship. But anyway I gave up on trying to force it to happen and I just came to terms that I might always be alone and decided that I will still smile and try to light up the world because the world needs it more than I need to be in a relationship and when my neediness went away I was able to find joy in every situation and people are attracted to that. Tldr: Learn to love yourself as how you would love the person you care about the most in the world.

@@MC-dz8be loving myself has proven to be the most difficult thing for me. (You can thank my parents for that) and dealing with all the stuff going on. It's so stressful. I don't have time to love myself. I just have to make sure no one is suffering around me. Even if it means I have to sacrifice my own happiness for my friends

it baffles me how i was never taught this while growing up (and i imagine most people haven't too?), I was basically raised to be superficial and with no understanding of how to truly connect with people it's very liberating to understand that and see how there's a more profound world view to live by

@@Psych2go oh, for sure! it's kind of all of them really haha but what struck me the most was the one that said that we don't get tired of being and talking with the person. I have that with a few people and I just thought of it as me randomly being more receptive to that person, but now I understand that it's more about emotional attraction, because all of the other signs are present as well! It's so useful to recognize that there's a deeper rooted reason for all of these signs and their correlation. This kind of understanding actually changes your perspective, truly transformatory for people that have no idea of it (I don't want to overreact here, but it totally was for me lol). It really puts more importance and value into the relationships that I already have and will have in the future, and it helped me understand myself better. So thank you for sharing it in such an easy way to digest, i think your work is a great public service. Keep at it!

This is exactly what I felt with my former best friend of seven years. I realized I was in love and told her, but she ghosted me. I imagine how much better life is when you have someone like this, someone you can actually share ur feelings with. Being able to talk about your feelings without being judged is rare, at least in my experience. Especially as a teenager when no one values ur opinion, or listens to anything u have to say. They hear but don't listen. It sucks when u feel like u can't talk to anyone

Me: *Soemone who has never been in a relationship and yet still comes to watch the videos about relationships or emotions that surround the topic* Heh... Why am I here...? In all seriousness through, I think this can go alone with friends and family members we are close to. I have a best friend I feel very comfortable with and can talk to him about anything and he understands because he's going through something similar. It's a nice thing to have that kind of person. I don't do this often with people either from having terrible trust issues. I could talk to him on the phone for a long time and not get tired, and I usually hate talking on the phone with people. I don't mind seeing them now and then but I don't need constant interaction with seeing or hearing them. I'm very interverted and love being alone, and when I don't mind talking to someone for hours, you better believe that they are special.

Oh, I know this feeling. It's amazing to find someone like this, and it feels weird at first when we found out how similar we are. We agree on so many things. We communicate in the same way, we're both honest and open with each other. He has a way of encouraging me I haven't experienced with anyone else. And when we talk, I draw this power of motivating him as I never do with anyone. Each time we talk we keep discovering more similarities. I didn't expect to meet him as I did. He lives literally crossing the Atlantic. He's not my partner nor do I have one. But I'm just grateful he is part of my life now ♥

I had this one I'm emotionally attracted with.. ~~ Sometimes, its so hard to see him in pain and sick.. As if I am him.. and he is same. Its so amazing, how human nature works.. Very interesting.. The bond it can make from one person with another person.. At first that person was my worse enemy, not physically but just within me (so I tried to avoid him a lot), because he always got mad and angry, I didn't like his temper.. But somehow.. Time passed by and I wanted to give him love because I felt like he was like that because he needed some love... And then it truly worked.. He became so soft and warm-hearted as if someone was able to understand him.. Now, he is the most gentle and kindest person I've ever known. He knows I don't like his temper so he doesn't get angry anymore unlike before..

I always experience emotional attraction before physical attraction. But because the emotional attraction takes so long to build it makes it difficult to date people.

Woww this hits soo close to home. I've been talking to a girl for 3 months now and we share the same interests, have the same taste in music and sometimes it feels like I'm talking to another me😂 Everything that you mentioned in the video is exactly how our friendship is. Last night I even stayed up until 7 in the morning with her just having a deep conversation (which lasted 8 hours) I hope in the future we can pursue a romantic relationship but she's a few years older than me and lives 5000km away.

Even changed train connections to not spend more time together. She wants me to move on, because she doesn’t want to hurt me & because she doesn‘t know how to deal with my attention and affection. Really long story. Maybe sometimes we‘ll get back to the friendship we had. Maybe we won‘t. It sucks. Can‘t recommend confessing at this point. ://
